Based from what I knew from Mel Robbins before I was very dissappointed. About 60% of the book consist of Social Media screenshots / stories of people who applied the 5s rule. Getting a summary for 1$ would be the better option instead of 10$ for the whole book. If you consider that her own biography and an out-of-context chapter take another 15% of the book there isn´t much noteable / citeable / new left. I like the simplicity of the rule but how to blow it up to a 250ish page book is just a waste of time, energy and money. It would be better if it had been an article on a blog or something similar. There is also additional material fory buyers of the book provided, which I still need to check out. But honestly I don´t expect anything life changing. Of course I will implement the rule in my everyday life, but I thought there would be a lot more background, context and deeper meaning behind. I was totally wrong :/
