Fand den Start in die Geschichte sehr spannend, eine Abwechslung zur typischen „Ich sitze im Auto auf dem Weg zur Akademie“ Geschichten die gerade im Sekundentakt rauskommen. War alles an diesem Buch innovatv ? Nein. Wenn man aber Bücher wie Vampire Academy oder Divergent mochte, ist das Buch was für einen. Man hat interessante Charaktere, Chemie und Dämonenkämpfe. Der Plottwist war leider so offensichtlich, die Autorin hätte eventuell weniger Hinweise geben sollen, wenn es eine Überraschung bleiben sollte.
I'm really, really torn about this one. On the one hand: a demon hunter and a demon? Sounds like exactly my trope. On the other hand, I didn't really care much about the character and story in general. Especially the beginning doesn't feel like anything new. The ending makes me want to get some answers for all those mysterious, open questions. The only question that remains is whether I'll listen to the whole second book to answer them or just look them up online 😅

This was SO GOOD! Viv ist eine demon huntress und töten ist ihr tägliches Geschäft. Als sie von einer Universität erfährt, die demon hunters ausbildet, schreibt sie sich widerwillig dort ein - denn das ist ihre beste Spur rauszufinden, was mit ihrem Vater passiert ist, der von Dämonen getötet wurde. Neben Clubnächten, Study Nights und der Schwärmerei über einen hotten demon professor, muss Viv unter anderem das Verschwinden von Schülerinnen nachgehen und weitere Geheimnisse aufdecken, die die Harker Universität mit sich bringt. Aber zwischen Kämpfen, Liebe, der Suche nach der Wahrheit und treuer Freundschaft muss sie aufpassen nicht selbst zum Opfer von dunklen Mächten zu werden. What you get: 🔪 demon x demon huntress 🔪 dark academia setting 🔪 professor x students 🔪 enemies to lovers 🔪 murder mystery Wow, das war absolut großartig! Zu Beginn fand ichs zwsr spannend, teilweise etwas langatmig. Aber insgesamt war es so ein spannender Plot, eine tension that made me giggle and kick my feet (🤭) und so einer wunderschönen Freundschaft/found family. 😍 Ich liebe das Setting und die Welt bzw. Half City 🫡 Toller Schreibstil, gute Spannungskurve und auch wenn die Anziehung nach kurzem Hass schon von Vivs Seite aus da war - bei Reid sicher auch, aber in seinen kopf kann man nicht reingucken haha - war es eine schöne Romance und wie gesagt: die Tension war top notch 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼 Viv ist fearless, eine Killermaschine und fucking badass. Ja und Reid... ein hotter demon UND Professor an der uni dort? Sign me the fuck up 😌 He falls first, hat eine touch her and die mentality und ist ebenfalls fucking badass! And the spice is 🤝🏻 Blöd ist jetzt: der fucking Cliffhanger am Ende und der 2. Band kommt später dieses Jahr 🙃😂 But now we wait and hope 👀 can recommend! ➡️ Single POV ➡️ 1.
