I liked it a lot. What took away from the rating is the fact that it disrupts my reading flow if the names are too complicated. I did like the story line and the world a lot. The characters have an interesting development while they go through the story. In books like this, the glossary should be at the beginning though that would help understand the world and the names for creatures better.

Was sollen die wahllosen Sexträume? Also nee. Deshalb 2 Sterne.

Fast paced, immersive, entertaining Romantasy with an interesting premise, elements of Middle Eastern mythology and single POV. Didn’t love the contemporary dialogue/modern slang, that threw me out of the fantasy setting. Missed a few more connections with side characters but I liked the romance and the conclusion to this book. I didn’t realize that it’s part of a series, but I’m excited for where the story goes.

„Sometimes lies are necessary evil.“ „It’s important to understand where you come from to know where you need to go.“ „When this is over and you’re safe, I promise to drop to my knees for you as long as you’d like.“ „But darkness can never thrive where light burns.“ „The Oryndhrians might call her Starkeeper. I call her my fucking end.“
