About the book

Away games, back seats, and the locker room after hours...New York Times bestselling author Penelope Douglas is back with this spicy new adult romance, now with bonus material.

Marymount girls are good girls. Even if they weren't, no one would know, because girls like Clay Collins keep their mouths shut.

Not that Clay has anything to share, anyway. Always in control, she owns the hallways, walking tall on Monday and then dropping to her knees like the good Catholic girl she is on Sunday. What she wants she has to hide.

Liv Jaeger crosses the tracks every day for one reason: to graduate from high school and get into the Ivy League. But Clay—with her beautiful skin, clean shoes, and rich parents—torments her daily and thinks Liv won't fight back.

At least not until Liv gets Clay alone and finds out she's hiding so much more than just what's underneath those pretty clothes.

Liv told Clay to stay on her side of town. But one night, Clay doesn't listen. And once Liv is done with her, she'll never be a good girl again.

    Wow

Ich liebe diese Autorin. Einfach wow. Was ein Buch. Sehr einfach vergebene 5/5 Sternen.

3.75 Stars ⭐️ Not a bad book but also not a favorite Penelope Douglas book for me. I liked Clay and Olivia a lot as characters and the setting was interesting. Can't wait to read more from this "book universe". What bothered me a little was the fact that they kept turning in circles for the most part of the book. I think Penelope Douglas does bully romances in such a perfect way normally. Especially with Punk 57 and Bully which are 6 stars for me. I was honestly hoping this would hit the same. Sadly it didn't and I think the reason was the books length. Bully and Punk 57 were between 300 and 400 pages while this was 500 pages and in the middle Clays and Olivias interactions felt repetitive and the book wasn't going anywhere. Only at the 70% mark did the story actually progress again. Maybe 100 pages less somewhere in the middle would have made me enjoy the middle part more. Overall, a good book and I'm excited to read Five Brothers because I really liked Krisjen.
