    Aktuell und sehr berührend beschreibt die Autorin den Vietnamkrieg und die Auswirkung auf Frauen und Kindern in Vietnam, insbesondere das Schicksal von Kindern von vietnamesischen Frauen und amerikanischen Soldaten. Sie vermeidet Stereotype, doch die Erzählung bleibt nicht frei von Kitsch - alles in allem aber ein sehr interessanter Einblick in eine schwierige Zeit für Vietnam.

    Eine tolle Story, die aus verschiedenen Blickwinkeln und aus verschiedenen Zeiten erzählt wird. Man kann den Charakteren gut folgen und mit ihnen mitfiebern. Nur die etwas zu vielen Zufälle am Ende haben mir nicht ganz so gut gefallen, aber trotzdem ein wirklich gelungenes interessantes Buch.
