Where to start??? Okay, first of this is a 2.5 Stars review. It was not THAT terrible. I actually almost cried at the ending of book 3. And the last 2 Chapters of book 4 were okayish. I liked the ending but wished for a brotherly bond. But all right. Can't judge this one based on what I loved in the show. - So why is this worse than Volume 1? The Fury was not that bad. Still a solid 3 Stars if we read it as FanFiction. And as mentioned I almost cried. But then I entered book 4. And oh, boy. What did I read?? Exactly. I don't know what was the plot? (The book series has major plot wholes in general like the whole Power thing Kat talked about in book 3 but then Klaus is all right and not affected at all? Did i miss sth there bc I don't get it..) But ok. I accept plot wholes as I do read it as FanFiction. But what was the plot??? WHY WAS KLAUS THERE???? - In the Show Klaus has a reason to go to Mystic Falls but book Klaus just enters Fells Church and kills people. Why though? I got Tyler being there on his side but why was Klaus in Fells Church in the first place???? I wanna know. Somebody explain??? ` That is basically where my actual 2 Star review comes from. The last book made even less sense than the first three combined. I actually enjoyed book 1. Book 4 just ruined everything which is sad.
