Gute Fortsetzung 😊
Genau wie der erste band hat mir dieser hier gut gefallen. Jamie und Andrew sind mir beide so wichtig und ans Herz gewachsen, dass ich mich richtig gefreut hatte als ein zweiter Teil angekündigt wurde 😊 Die Geschichte geht genauso spannend weiter wie ich es mir vorgestellt habe 😊 Das englisch ist sehr einfach zu verstehen also könnte ich es jedem empfehlen der mit einem Englischen Buch angefangen möchte (bitte aber erst Teil 1 lesen ) ❤️ Ein halben Stern Abzug gibt es, da sich das Ende einerseits gezogen hatte aber dann auch abrupt geendet wurde. Fande ich sehr schade 😭 Dennoch ein tolles Buch 😊
Loved the Book, loved the Series, loved the ending.
The Headline basically says it. I loved this Series and am so happy that Andrew and Jamie finally got their happy ending. Honestly, cried all the way through the last two chapters. I will probably reread Both of the Books. Definitley two of my favorites.
Ich muss das erstmal verarbeiten
Nachdem ich eine Nacht drüber geschlafen habe, kann ich jetzt etwas zu dem Buch sagen. Die Geschichte beginnt wenige Wochen nach dem Ende des ersten Buches. Es gibt viele neue Charaktere, die mir alle sehr schnell ans Herz gewachsen sind. Jamie und Andrew waren wieder auf der Straße unterwegs. Dabei hatten sie deutlich mehr und auch heftigere Herausforderungen. Ich will nicht zu viel verraten. Das Buch ist auf jeden Fall lesenswert und hat mir sehr gut gefallen.

I was so happy to read about Jamie and Andrew again. I loved “All that’s Left in the World” and have been waiting for the sequel ever since. Here it is and of course I already read it in a day. After their journey through the post-apocalyptic world, they finally found a community... a family. But my goodness, what they went through... they met old enemies again and experienced traumatic shit. Andrew and Jamie argued often and it was heartbreaking to read how their relationship developed. ———————————— There were a lot of characters in the book, which I actually often have problems with. However, this was not the case in this book. I was able to quickly relate to all of them (and they won my heart.) (AND WE HAVE HEARD FROM HENRI AGAIN!) In the second half of the book, Jamie turns into a mix of Ellie Williams (The last of us) and Achilles (Song of Achilles) and I don't know whether to love it or hate it? At the end of the entire book I was hoping for a happy ending. Does that exist? Read for yourself. (I had tears in my eyes so many times while reading this. Even the acknowledgments were perfect.) It's already one of my favorite books of the year and it definitely won't be the last time I read it.
Habe das Buch heute fertig gelesen und habe es sogar während ich gelaufen bin und die Treppe bei meiner Freundin hochgelaufen bin weitergelesen. Es war zwischendurch sehr langatmig, etwas schlechter als der erste Teil meiner Meinung nach. Nichts desto trotz ein sehr gutes Buch, ich mag den schreibstil des Autors sehr gerne. Es wirkt sehr realistisch, sehr witzig und einfach gut zum Lesen. Ich habe das Gefühl ich kann mit diesem Buch etwas die corona Zeit mit abschließen, auch wenn es bei mir lange nicht so dramatisch war. 4/5<333
Ich habe den ersten Band absolut geliebt und konnte es kaum erwarten, Jamie und Andrew erneut begleiten zu können. Natürlich waren meine Ansprüche hoch und ich kann nicht genau sagen, woran es lag, aber der Start ins Buch hat sich im Gegensatz zum Vorgängerband wirklich gezogen. Irgendwas hat mich einfach gestört. Vielleicht lag es am Schreibstil, vielleicht aber auch an der katastrophalen Kommunikation zwischen Jamie und Andrew. Wahrscheinlich eine Mischung aus beidem, was wirklich schade war, weil es doch schnell spannend und auch emotional wurde. Doch die Geschichte konnte mich letztendlich wieder abholen und begeistern. Die Reise der Gruppe zu verfolgen, war spannend, traurig und unterhaltend zugleich. Man konnte genauso gut mitfiebern wie in Band 1. Ich habe mich sehr gefreut, dass einige bekannte Figuren wiederkehren, teilweise mit interessanter Charakterentwicklung. Auch die Entwicklung unserer Protagonisten, vor allem Jamies, hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Es war schön zu verfolgen, wie er für sich selbst Antworten und gleichzeitig seinen Frieden findet. Wieder steht die Frage nach der Moral im Fokus, was durchaus zum Nachdenken anregt. Dieses Sequel rundet die Geschichte rund um Jamie und Andrew perfekt ab. Ich bin sehr froh darüber, dass es nach Band 1 noch nicht vorbei war, ich wollte einfach noch mehr, es hatte sich noch nicht vollständig angefühlt. Jetzt wurde ein wirklich toller Abschluss gefunden!

I really wish that maybe there will be another book set in the same world👀 Definitely recommend!!!
Kinda disappointed
I absolutely loved the first book, so I was really excited when I saw the second book was out. But after reading it I think that Andrew and Jamie didn’t need more drama. I absolutely love them and I wish they had their happy ending after book one. Nonetheless I really love the book and I enjoyed being back with my comfort characters

A lot more people join our two protagonists and this whole book feels a lot different than the first. But it’s just as exciting, funny and romantic at times as “All That’s Left In The World”. Really glad I read both of them and I will definitely read the next one if Erik J. Brown decides to write another one.
