Ryke Meadows, meet Daisy Calloway ... she's all grown up.
Twenty-five-year-old Ryke Meadows knows he's hard to love. With a billion-dollar inheritance, a track-star resume, and an alpha-male personality—he redefines the term likable-asshole. But he's not living to make friends. Or enemies. He just wants to free climb three of the toughest mountains in Yosemite without drama or interruption.
And then he receives a distressed call from a girl in Paris.
Daisy Calloway is finally eighteen. With her newfound independence, she can say goodbye to her overbearing mother and continue her modeling career. Next stop: Paris. Fashion Week begins with a bang, and Daisy uncovers the ugly reality of the industry. She wants to prove to her family that she can live on her own, but when everything spirals out of control, she turns to Ryke to keep her secrets.
As Daisy struggles to make sense of this new world and her freedom, she pushes the limits and fearlessly rides the edge. Ryke knows there's deep hurt beneath every impulsive action. He must keep up with Daisy, and if he lets her go, her favorite motto—"live as if you'll die today"—may just come true.

This book is a addictive read – if finished it on 1 day and I‘m still thinking about these characters. I still think about Daisy and how much I can relate to her, and that she is – no questions asked – my bookgirlfriend in this series. Like for real, she is amazing and so inspiring. Ryke as well. To be honest, when I read Addicted to you (the first book in this series), I didn‘t even like him…and well, now he‘s one of my favorites. He has proofen himself before, and he does again in this book. Grumpy, naughty, protective…he has it all. I also like that we get to see him with his brother and father. And of course every scene with him and Daisy is a highlight…when they become more than friends, how he protects and supports her. There so much I get to love about this book, and it makes me excited to read more about them. Most memorable quote: “You‘re a hothouse flower, you can‘t grow under natural conditions. You need adventure, and security and love to stay alive.“ 5+/5⭐️ 3/5🌶️
Here we go again. Finally Daisy and Rykes story. It did certainly not disappoint. Ryke has my whole heart. I loved him in the other books but this really solidified his character for me. The way he took care of her when she had her nightmares, the way he ran fucking THREE MILES with her in his arms. He puts her first, he knows her better than himself at times. You can see that Daisy has forced him to grow. Seeing him struggle between his love for Daisy and his devotion for Lo and not wanting to hurt him was so painful. But we knew this would happen. I love how that conflict was resolved and I love that their brotherly bond grew stronger. We also go to understand the relationship with his parents better. He felt like he didn't belong, he was the "hidden" child. There is so much anger and disappointment in him and that he overcame that for Lo just amazes me. Daisy is the sweetest. I loved finally reading all her thoughts. She seems so bubbly but all that has happened really took a toll on her. What seems like carelessness really is a coping mechanism. I understand her behaviors so much better now. I felt so bad for her at times and the fact that after Paris she felt so much freer and happier was so great to see. It hurt seeing her so afraid and I think the authors did a great job portraying her trauma. She went through so many horrible things that I can't even begin to understand. I loved seeing her bloom with Ryke and finally being able to feel safe. I felt so bad for her when she felt like her sisters were blocking her out and you could really see how she wanted to get closer to them. I am so glad that we got the ending we did, because it was so fluffy and made me so happy to have them all live together. The snowball fight *screams* Connor and Lo's bromance was so funny and brought much needed lightheartedness to the book. Rose and Connor with their dunking donuts. Lily and her wampa cap. Lo and his snarky comments. Gosh I love them so much. They really feel like my friends. I love how these books show you all the sides of their lives. It's heartbreaking, sad and infuriating at times, but it's filled with love and so much laughter and seeing them grow is all I need. One tiny qualm I have with this are the pregnancies. Like both of them. Why?? It just isn't a plot I am to fond of but I am curious to see how they cope and how the authors explore all there relationships further. I can't wait to read more of them <3
2,5 Stars and only because well I love the family/friend connection all these characters have . Because this book wasn't the best in the series . The plot was crazy and really wild and kind of over the top and yeah they are celebrities but the plot was still too much . I also did not feel a big romantic connection between Ryke and Daisy, even though I like them both on their own (Daisy is even my favourite Calloway girl !). And that is because Krista and Becca did what they always do , they let the relationship develop off the pages and you only get to read about them when they are nearly together. And that's sad because I can't form an attachment to this relationship without really seeing it develop... What really got me to still like this book was the end when all the characters meet again , when we have more interaction between the siblings and the friends I really enjoyed and liked that . And Lo (my problematic fave ❤️) even managed to bring me on the verge of crying and that says something since I did not really enjoy the book. Yeah what can I say ? The book was too long (100 pages shorter and I would have enjoyed it more )& The authors still excel in writing family relationships but it's lacking in the romance department ( & there was too much sex . Like I enjoy the occasional sex scene and I get that the sex was kind of necessary also in Daisy's development but I still thing it was too much and I ended up skipping them ...) But it's not a bad book , it's still kind of fun and if you like the characters you are still going to enjoy reading about them .
I can not put into words how much I love this series! This series is just pure comfort for me Daisy is an adventurous, positive and bright person. She is a living sunshine and loves to try things and get the feeling of an adrenaline rush. Daisy is known as the youngest calloway sister and is not afraid to try new things, yet her life is not the easiest. You can clearly see that a lot of things are weighting on her and since she is the youngest sister, she also has the feeling to suppresses her feelings towards the others. Ryke is hot, moody, sporty and would do anything for Daisy. Despite the fact that his life is not the easiest right now, Ryke is a very selfless character who would do anything for his beloved people. Likewise for Daisy. It is totally visible that both characters are sharing a deep connection with each other and are having a lot of sexual tension. However, what happens when the desire for more than friendship hangs by a thin thread but both know that so much is being risked when they pursue their feelings, is a good question...
