Ich hatte so große Hoffnungen..
Nachdem der erste Band der Reihe überhaupt nicht meinem Geschmack entsprochen hat und mir der zweite Band so viel besser gefallen hat, hab ich mich eigentlich auf das Buch gefreut. Die Charaktere fand ich in den vorherigen Büchern nämlich super interessant. Tja, Pustekuchen. Die Beiden sind so unsympathisch, ich hab mir fast die Haare vom Kopf gerissen. Er war Toxisch wie geht nicht mehr aber im Gegensatz zu ihr ein niedliches Häschen. Silvie ist ein furchtbarer Mensch, der sich für niemanden, außer vllt Spencer und sich selbst interessiert. Sie ist arrogant und drückt ihren Willen durch, egal wen sie auf dem Weg verletzt. Sie nimmt einer Katze (Freigängerin die versorgt wird und am Strand lebt) ihre Heimat weg und stopft sie in ihre Wohnung, weil sie meint: Wenn ich will, dass die glücklich ist, ist sie das auch. Wie kann man so selbstsüchtig sein? Ja, ihre Kindheit war furchtbar und sie hat mir echt Leid getan aber ich kam mit ihr einfach nicht klar. Egal wie viel Mitleid ich hatte, es hat deb Charaktere nicht liebenswerter gemacht. Die eigentliche Liebesgeschichte war auch total öde. Mich haben die Rückblicke in die Vergangenheit überhaupt nicht interessiert. Einzig die Geschichte zwischen Silvie und ihrer Mutter war wirklich interessant. Deswegen hat es auch die 2,5 Sterne bekommen. Der Plot am Ende hat mich überrascht und gleichzeitig irgendwie enttäuscht. Die Autorin wollte nochmal ordentlich schocken. Der Effekt hat aber nur ein paar Seiten gehalten, das Ergebnis war ernüchternd. Gerechtigkeit sieht irgendwie anders aus. Alles in allem einfach absolut nicht mein Buch. Ging mir eher alles auf die Nerven. Hätte ich die zweite Hälfte nicht als Hörbuch gehört, hätte ich es abgebrochen. Der Smut war auch langweilig und hat eher Augen-Verdrehen in mir ausgelöst. Keine Empfehlung.
Ich mochte Sylvie in dem ersten Buch nicht und jetzt kann ich verstehen warum sie so war und warum sie manche Dinge gemacht hat. Ich kam jetzt deutlich besser mit ihrem Charakter klar und mag sie auch deutlich mehr als vorher, die Geschichte zwischen ihr und Spencer war ein auf und ab. Ich fand das Buch auf jeden Fall gut aber nicht so gut wie a Million kisses in your lifetime. Ich empfehle es jedem der gerne wissen will warum Sylvie so war aber vorher muss man things I wanted to say but Never did lesen.

Nachdem ich „a million kisses in your lifetime“ gelesen habe war ich soooo aufgeregt dachte omg ich muss die anderen lesen weil es ich einfach so toll fand. Dann hab ich „things i wanted to say“ gelesen und ich war so enttäuscht… 600 seiten und eine großes fragezeichen. Natürlich hatte ich direkt beide gekauft also hab ich mich dazu aufgerafft auch noch das zu lesen und erst dachte ich nööö aber dann kam ich zur stelle wo ich nur mitleid für sylvie hatte und weiter lesen musste um ihr ein happy end zu geben und jetzt bin ich froh das es ich es getan habe.
mochte sylvie im ersten band nicht und auch am anfang war sie sehr nervig und hat spencer ausgenutzt, aber als man erfahren hat was alles mit ihr passiert ist und sylvie auch ehrlicher wurde hab ich sie in mein herz geschlossen, spencer ist sehr naiv was sylvie angeht und ich hätte mir gewünscht das es etwas länger dauert bis er ihr verzeiht , am anfang ist nicht viel passiert und so richtig gab es auch keinen plot, whit und summer waren in dem buch so süß und man merkt das beide erwachsen geworden sind

OKAYYY I don’t even know where to start😭. This was a second chance and brothers best friend romance. The characters deal with family issues and traumas. I feel really bad for Sylvie what she had gone through at such a young age until now, that she didn’t have her own identity and couldn’t be her own person. I love how non toxic Spencer was, he was actually really sweet. The book had a lot of smut, even though it was good it was still missing smth for me. Like, overall I enjoyed the book, but it was just kinda repetitive for me about all the problems etc and idk. I also loved the the whitsummer and crewwren crumbs !! It was so cute that they also had a cat and not children which is normally the case. Just glad the mom died fr HWHAHH. But like Fr it was so random like I was just reading and I thought she would just be injured from that fall but she was DEAD 💀💀. It was cute how overprotective whit was about Sylvie and just generally how her relationship with her father, summer, whit and Carolina became better. But on the other hand, even though I enjoyed this book, I would have also enjoyed a little more drama between Spencer and Sylvie. He just kinda got over it too quickly for my liking but at the same time it was the whole point how he would love her no matter what ykyk. SO YEAH ima give it 3.5 stars just cause I was feelin the other books a lil more.
