Das Cover hat mich erst abgeschreckt, sah mir ziemlich nach dark Romance aus oder smut ohne Sinn, aber beides war überhaupt nicht der Fall. Das war ein fanastisches romance Buch. Die Charaktere waren etwa Ende 20 und standen mitten im Leben, trafen dementsprechend erwachsenere Entscheidungen und die Kommunikation lief gut, was erfrischend war. Es wurden keine unnötigen Dramen produziert, trotzdem war es von Anfang bis Ende spannend. Ich konnte richtig mitfühlen und hatte nie so ein „unangenehm“ Gefühl, wenn die Charaktere gesprochen haben, was sonst schnell mal passiert. Ich habe gelacht, icv habe ein paar Tränchen verdrückt, besser hätte es nicht sein können. Klare Empfehlung
I somehow don’t really like second chance romance, but I really like this book. The backstory was just perfect and so realistic. I liked that Johnathan knew about his daughter and it wasn’t a secret. Especially the idea with the Comics and Breezeo was extraordinary( I haven’t read something like that before). I love comics and superheroes so it’s already a whole star and how these comics connect Kennedy and Johnathan is just so romantic and nostalgic for both of them.
