Das Ende klang eigentlich so, als ob es der Abschluss der Reihe hätte sein sollen. Ist auch gut gelungen. Mal sehen, was es mit den weiteren Bänden auf sich hat.

Book four didn’t have a new bot, but we got mentions of ART and Mickey (not sure if this is how you write it’s name) and the big amazing thing in this book: we get the crew from book one back! Which was so lovely to see. I was afraid for a second there, that Murderbot would end book four as it did book one, but to my immense relief, it didn’t. And it was such a great ending, I am exited for book five.

3.5* Die Murderbot Bücher sind immer spannend, kurzweilig und machen einfach Spass zu lesen. In diesem Teil trifft man einige alte Bekannte wieder und Murderbot muss sie aus einer brenzligen Situation retten. Anfangs hatte ich ein bisschen Mühe in die Geschichte rein zu kommen da ich mich nicht mehr ganz an alles erinnern konnte. Mit der Zeit kamen jedoch die Erinnerungen zurück und ich konnte das Buch komplett geniessen. Murderbot war wie gewohnt meine Lieblingsfigur und ebenfalls wie gewohnt war der Humor toll.

PRESERVATION AUX! I love that we get to follow Murderbot as It realizes that choices from Rogue Protocol (bk 3) have lead to a much need rescue mission of his old friends from Preservation Aux. Being back with Pin-Lee, Gurathin, Ratthi, and Dr. Mensah was amazing. Though that ending had me scared for a moment. From laughs to full on connecting with Murderbot, this book potentially has become my favorite in the series. Now to head off into a journey of what will Murderbot choose to do with all the paths laid before It.

Teil 4 der Murderbot-Serie ist genau so kurzweilig und spannend zu lesen wie die vorangegangenen Bücher. Wer actiongeladene Science Ficiton und zynischen Humor mag, ist hier genau richtig. Ich freue mich schon auf den nächsten Teil "Network Effect" und bin gespannt, wie Murderbot sich in voller Romanlänge lesen wird. :D

Eine der besten Geschichten von Murderbot bisher!!! Was für eine emotionale Achterbahnfahrt 🤩 Ich hab das Gefühl, jetzt geht es erst so richtig los. Ihm steht die ganze Welt offen.

Es war wie immer gut, aber hat mich nicht gaaanz so sehr überzeugt, wie die vorherigen Teile. Aber das ist okay, es war trotzdem wundervoll!

Back to the original humans and an exit strategy that leaves room for improvement. This adventure continues with some of the secrecy from the previous book and ends with a lot of human interaction as well as some obligatory action scenes. Onto the next!

If this had been the ending to the series I would have been completely fine with it: it was great. There is a lot of action, but it's balanced well with incredible moments showcasing how far Murderbot has come. It was a blast having the old crew back, too.

Well, I read chapter one, which I didn't get past, and it was about a smelly man going to work. Nothing mentioned in the description was hinted at in the story before I stopped reading.

The beginning and middle did not grab me in the same way as the first three novellas, but the ending was up to form. Very much looking forward to the novel, but I'm gonna pace myself, because I don't like to think that I have no new Murderbot to look foreward too. So probably going go to start it in the new year :-)

Murderbot needs a name. Wells at her best. Murderbot is funny, fast, and on fire.

Murderbot has a special place in my heart.

Loved seeing some of the already established dynamics play out and following the advances towards murderbot's freedom.
