Dieses Buch war einfach nur bewegend. Ich finde diese Geschichte, diese Bindung zwischen diesem Tier und einem Menschen einfach nur atemberaubend! Wenn man sich einfach nur einmal vor Augen hält, dass James Bowen ein armer Obdachloser und Methadon-Abhängiger Mensch war, sich seinen Unterhalt mit Straßenmusik finanzierte und es sich zu seiner Lebensaufgabe machte, sich um einen verwahrlosten und verletzten Kater zu kümmern - dann merkt man einfach, dass man noch an das Gute im Menschen glauben kann. James Bowen hat seine Belohnung bekommen, er ist heute clean und führt ein geregeltes Leben. Ich hoffe für ihn, dass er die Kraft und das Durchhaltevermögen besitzt diesen Weg weiterzugehen.
