Wren versucht verzweifelt, mit dem Scherbenhaufen zurecht zu kommen, aber ohne Erklärung von Torj kann ihr das einfach nicht gelingen. Kurz nachdem er fortgeschickt wurde, zwingen die Umstände die beiden wieder zusammen und für meine Begriffe dauert es wieder ewig, bis die beiden ihren Shit endlich geklärt bekommen. Umstände in Delmira ändern sich plötzlich, weitere royale Erben werden enthüllt und der neue Feind am Horizont macht seinen nächsten Schachzug, was den nächsten Mega-Cliffhanger einleitet. Allerdings muss ich sagen, dieser wurde ziemlich am Anfang des Buches vorbereitet und ich habe seit dem darauf gewartet, was daraus wird. Also die Enthüllung im Garten ist für mich nicht überraschend, oder zumindest nur in soweit, WIE sie ans Licht gekommen ist.
