4,5/5 ⭐️ Ich bin kein Fan von Zusatzbänden. Meistens finde ich sie einfach nur unnötig, um direkt zu sein. Dieses Statement muss ich mit Slaying the Shadow Prince zurücknehmen. Dieses Buch hat die Legends of Thezmarr Reihe einfach perfekt gemacht. Die Autorin empfiehlt den Band nach Band 2 zu lesen und das kann ich nur so unterschreiben. In StSP bleiben wir zwar bei den Warswords, gleichzeitig wird eine ganz neue Perspektive innerhalb dieser Welt eingenommen. Dru ist dabei eine unfassbar starke Protagonistin. Sarkastisch und mit dem Herz am rechten Fleck - das ist mit meine liebste Kombi. Und Thalamir als männlicher Protagonist funktioniert auch richtig gut. In seiner Geschichte geht es viel darum, die Dunkelheit in sich zuzulassen. Von so etwas bekomme ich nie genug. Das passt einfach gut in das ganze Fantasy Setting. Müsste ich Dru und Thalamirs Beziehung beschreiben würde ich sagen, dass es ein Mix aus Enemies to lovers und Love at first sight ist. Ja das geht xD Ich mochte die beiden zusammen einfach sehr. Und die Geschichte ist wirklich spannend, wenn auch etwas vorhersehbar. Ich habe so viel tolles dazugelernt und so viele neue Verknüpfungen zu der Hauptreihe entdecken können. So sollte ein Zusatzband sein. Unbedingt lesen! (vor allem wenn ihr die Legends of Thezmarr Reihe lesen möchtet)
