3.75/5⭐️ Diese Sammlung enthält alle 48 von Poes Gedichten und wow, da ist bei mir eine weite Spanne dabei von fand ich richtig toll bis hin zu - hä? 😄 Ich bin ehrlich, ich hab mich vermutlich etwas überschätzt, als ich dachte ich könnte altertümliche englische Sprache ganz bestimmt easy verstehen. Ja...nö. Al Aaraaf ist glaube ich ein gutes Beispiel dafür und eines der längeren Gedichte in diesem Buch, hätte ich nicht hinterher gegoogelt, um was es eigentlich genau ging, ich hätte es so nicht geschnallt. Das ist aber natürlich nur ein sehr subjektives Problem, andere kürzere Gedichte fand ich dagegen klasse und Poes Hang zur Melancholie und dem Tod sind Themen, die mich einfach sehr schnell abholen. The Raven ist wohl mein Favourit der Sammlung, ebenfalls etwas länger und stellt Trauer und Verlust und die damit verbundene Verzweiflung sehr gut dar. 🖤
