Wow was für ein tolles Buch !
Ein weiteres YA Buch auf englisch, irgendwie mag ich das Genre zu dieser Jahreszeit auf englisch zu lesen. Der Text war super flüssig und die Geschichte spannend. Ollie ist eine schlaue Schülerin die sehr verschlossen ist, aber total interessant und sympathisch, misie findet ein Buch mit einem mystischen Text über eine verwunschene Farm und findet bald heraus was es damit auf sich hat 🎃 👻 🍁 Teilweise war das Buch sogar etwas gruslig und man hat total mitgefiebert. Kann es wirklich empfehlen 👌🏻
Ein Buch, das alles hat, was grosse und kleine Leser mögen: die Charaktere sind lebensecht und glaubhaft, die Handlung spannend, doch mit ruhigen Momenten, und das Setting passt hervorragend. Selbstverständlich ist es der perfekte Lesestoff für den Monat Oktober. Wer sich jetzt schon wieder auf Halloween freut, wird "Small Spaces" aber auch im Wintermonat Januar geniessen können (wie ich zum Beispiel). Das zweite Buch der Reihe habe ich schon fest für den erwähnten Monat Ende Jahr 2020 eingeplant und bin gespannt, ob Katherine Arden auch im nächsten Band die positiven Eindrücke halten kann.
