Ich liebe die Slow Horses ja bekanntlich. Aber nach diesem Band liebe ich sie einfach noch etwas mehr. Mittlerweile hänge ich so sehr an den Charakteren, dass ich permanent von einem Schaudern beim Lesen begleitet werde, da Mick Herron beinahe einen Game of Thrones-artigen Umgang mit manchen seiner Figuren bzw. deren Ableben an den Tag legt, was den Cliffhanger dieses Buches in keiner Weise erträglicher macht. Das Ganze wird dann auch wieder durch lupenreine Agentenarbeit (oder wie ich sie mir vorstelle) gerahmt, mit ein paar James Bond-Kalauern begleitet und schon haben wir beste Unterhaltung, ganz ohne große Explosionen. Wie gesagt: ich liebe es!
