Spannend bis zur letzten Seite!
Freida Mcfadden ist einfach der Wahnsinn! Hatte von der Autorin schon „The Housemaid“ gelesen und hab es innerhalb kürzester Zeit weggesnackt und so ging es mir auch bei „One by One“. Eine Freundesgruppe plannt einen Trip in ein Hotel mitten in der Natur, doch so wie es kommt passiert ein Unglück nach dem anderen. Das Auto mit dem Sie fahren springt plötzlich mitten im Wald nicht an und die Freunde sind gezwungen zu Fuß weiter zum Hotel zu gehen. Alles was sie haben ist nur eine ausgedruckte Karte und ein Kompass. Doch nacheinander passieren füchterliche Dinge und welche das sind müsst ihr Lesen….. Wow das war soo spannend ich konnte das Buch garnicht mehr aus der Hand legen. Der Schreibstil von Freida Mcfadden war wie immer sehr gut, man kommt schnell in die Story rein und wie auch bei „The Housemaid“ hab ich das Buch auf englisch gelesen und fand es super einfach und angenehm (kein schwieriges englisch). Die Story ist so fesseln und spannend und für jeden der gerne Thriller liest die sich vorallem in einsamen Wäldern abspielt. Kann es nur weiterempfehlen 5 Sterne ⭐️

Also, Claire verstehe ich überhaupt nicht ... Schön, Noah behandelt sie nicht gerade nett, aber ihre Reaktion wegen des Pinkelns ist ja auch die eines trotzigen Kleinkindes 🫣
