A BRAND-NEW ADVENTURE FROM THE WORLD OF PERCY JACKSON AND THE OLYMPIANS

From #1 best-selling author Rick Riordan and award-winning author Mark Oshiro comes a new adventure featuring two of the most popular characters from the world of Percy Jackson and the Olympians.

It's been three months since demigod boyfriends Nico di Angelo and Will Solace returned from Tartarus, and there hasn't been a single quest for them in all that time. So, when Nico's half sister Hazel asks them to come to Camp Jupiter to help with an 'issue', Nico shadow-jumps at the chance to do something.

What Hazel didn't tell the boys is that she's providing a haven for a group of monsters who've escaped the Underworld! Apparently, during Nico and Will's trip to the Underworld, they showed the monsters that they don't have to be evil - that the monsters have options.

But then the monsters start disappearing from the camp and it's clear a dark force is at work - and Nico, Will and Hazel are shocked to find that they're connected to it . . .

Return to the World of Percy Jackson in the best-selling, brand-new adventure featuring the original hero in Percy Jackson and the Olympians: Wrath of the Triple Goddess - out now!

Everything bad I had to say about TSATS improved so much!

I feel like Rick Riordan and Mark Oshiro really co-wrote this book. In TSATS one could always notice when the other writer took over- here it’s much more seamless! Absolute wonder of a character cast - they play into each other so nicely! And this book, I feel, is integrated much more smoothly into the overall story happening within the Percy Jackson Universe. The most negative thing I had to say about the Sun and the Star was how often and obviously phrased the message of the story was in the final two chapters. Here, the message is still very much in-your-face, but not literally spelled out every two paragraphs, so the ending was a whole lot more enjoyable to read! On the topic of topics and messages; the embracing change part of it fits in so well with the narrative of the entirety of Percy Jackson. Really helped tie it down as less of a spin-off, but more of an actual part of the story. The partial focus on Hazel was also wonderful to read about and I loved how one could see how much more in tune she and Nico get with every second they spend together - the formatting starting at chapter 37 really highlights this and it’s just a joy to read. The ingenuity they showed to figure out the Roman technology (to refrain from spoilers) is also greatly appreciated! Thank you, Uncle Rick and Mark! For a lovely book and for showing how you can also grow in working together!

This new Nico di Angelo Adventure is absolutely about accepting your own emotions and accepting yourself as you are. Nico, Will and Camp Jupiter are confronted with new campers, who are firstly not accepted by the other legionnaires. It is a metaphor for accepting others who are different from you and fighting stereotypes. It is also about asking and accepting love and help.

This book is a masterpiece. Oncel Rick did not disappoint. Thank you for letting Nico find peace and also thanks for letting Annabeth and Percy have their peace!
