From bestselling author and TikTok sensation Becka Mack comes the final book in her sizzling hockey romance series about a couple who face an agonizing challenge that could bring them closer--or tear them apart.

Cara Hunter is a self-made woman. Driven and fearless, she's never lost a battle. In fact, the only time she's fallen to her knees was, well . . . for him.

Emmett Brodie might be one of hockey's hottest players, but the moment he sees Cara, he's reduced to a single word: hers. And he'll stop at nothing to change her last name.

With a love as all-encompassing and fierce as theirs, they become the ultimate power couple and the backbone of their family. But when they decide it's time to have a baby, they discover their journey to conceiving will be anything but easy. As they face off with infertility, a battle that strips them to their bones, they'll see just how unshakable their foundation really is.

They thought they could survive anything together, but how do you survive when you're barely breathing?

Life is too hard to not give yourself credit.

“Breathe With Me, Baby”

This is one of those books that stays with you long after you turn the last page. It’s incredibly hard to put into words the full range of emotions this story brings, because it doesn’t just tell a story — it makes you feel it, deeply and painfully. This is not an easy read, especially for women. The book touches on vulnerability, emotional pain, healing, and the quiet battles we fight within ourselves every single day. The characters feel painfully real — flawed, broken, and searching for comfort in ways that aren’t always perfect. Watching them navigate their inner struggles, fears, and the weight of their past is both heartbreaking and beautiful. There were moments when I had to put the book down, to stop, take a breath, and step away. Not because it wasn’t good, but because it felt too real. This story doesn’t rush emotions or healing — it allows them to unfold naturally, even when it hurts to read. And yet, it is worth every single minute spent with it. I won’t go into details, but this is a book that truly deserves to be read. It reminds you that sometimes love doesn’t fix everything — but it can help you survive. Please keep tissues nearby, because every chapter, every line gently breaks your heart, leaving you emotionally raw, shattered, and grateful for the experience.

Simultaneously heartbreaking and uplifting

I’ve been a fan of this series for some time, and when I read about who would be the protagonists in this book, I was excited, and already sacred how much it would hurt, reading about their life’s. And I was not disappointed. I loved this story and book. I cried quite a lot but I it felt so amazing reading about their family, and how they overcame all their struggles with infertility, and finding their own space for their own family. It was so devastating and relatable reading about her struggles, helplessness, and hate for herself. But also so uplifting and heartwarming reading about her healing journey and them finding their little addition, that made them whole. And the only reason why it wasn’t a 5 star; at some points it could have been a bit shorter.
