This is a great debut novel, and I can't wait to read more of this world and these characters! One thing I would like to mention is the incredible LGBTQ+ rep in this book. I loved how it was portrayed as something that is the norm. No funny looks are cast on them, no one even regards it as something abnormal. This is exactly how it should be in "our world" as well. I really do wish more books had such an amazing representation of the LGBTQ+ community. But not only that. I also really liked the story itself, and the characters were very enjoyable to read about. Going into this, I did not know what to expect, but I sure was pleasantly surprised! There was always something happening; it was never boring, which I really did appreciate. Had uni not been in my way, I probably would have read this much faster, since the pace was just right. I am impatiently waiting for the second book! ALSO: THIS COVER!!! GORGEOUS!
