The third volume continues with Xie Lian’s past. Newly ascended to the heavens, he still remains attached to the mortal realm and the events unfolding there. This is also where the beginnings of the misfortunes that will shape his next 800 years take root. Hua Cheng’s past is also explored in more depth, showing how their stories intertwine. Of course, the two meet again, and this time we get the first hints of a more romantic moment. Xie Lian’s reaction was wonderfully amusing - despite his years of life and battle experience, he is still surprisingly innocent in other ways. The dynamic between them is absolutely delightful, and Hua Cheng is truly the greenest of green flags. I’m already looking forward to the fourth volume, which happens to be my favorite, as I know what’s to come.
Das war ein sehr emotionaler Aufklärer Trauriger und Brutaler Band. Nachdem der letzte Band meiner Sicht sehr ruhig war war diese sehr heftig. Also Xie lians und Hua Chengs beziehen ist in manchen stellen sehr intim geworden. Allerdings sind beim Windmeister und den “Erdmeister” noch viele Fragen offen.

Tolle Fortsetzung mit hartem Start
Der 3. Band hat mir insgesamt wieder super gefallen, jedoch war der 1. der beiden Arcs hart zu lesen. Dieser war ein Flashback in die Vergangenheit und war zwar wichtig und an sich gut geschrieben, aber einfach heftig zu lesen, weshalb ich da etwas gebraucht habe, um da durch zu kommen. Beim 2. Arc, der wieder in der Gegenwart spielt, bin ich dann aber wieder durchgeflogen, der hat mir wieder richtig gut gefallen!

In diesem Band tauchen wir noch tiefer in die komplexe und faszinierende Welt von Xie Lian ein und erhalten bedeutende Einblicke in seine Vergangenheit. Zudem bekommen wir einen ausführlichen Blick auf die geheimnisvolle Ghost City und erleben den ersten Kuss, der sicherlich viele Fans begeistern wird. 5☆ ー Do you ever read Danmei and think to yourself, what the hell is happening? That was me with chapter 37. This whole storyline with the Land of the Tender flowers made me so uncomfortable... But I simply choose to ignore it and focus on how obsessed I am with Hua Cheng. He's the only man ever. I also loved learning more about Xie Lian's past before and right after he ascended. It really helped me understand him as a character, what he stands for and believes in and why he is where he is now. Also... Hualian has my whole heart <3
A slow start again but after that it was even better
So this volume first continued with the flashback arc but that part was really long and honestly a bit boring at times (it just wasn't necessary entertaining). Also we already know most of it just not in detail and it was just sad to see the fall of the kingdom of Xianle. It was really important though and I enjoyed the scenes with young Hua Cheng. Once that was over and we got back to the present part again it was just great. We finally saw some development in the romance department, though it was just a short scene. Still the chapters after that were also really funny and I can even kinda tolerate Qi Rong atm cause it's funny to see him mad xD I am very curious about that baby ghost thing but now a new story started with Shi Qingxuan, which I am happy about cause they are one of my favorite side characters 🥰

Ich mag die Geschichte sehr und fand es super interessantere Vorgeschichte von Xie lian zu hören. Zudem liebe ich die erste kussszene sehr Sweet. Generell war es ein gut lesbarer Band der zwischen Scherzen, süßen Szenen, Spannung und Drama oft hin und her gewechselt hat 🥰🤩🤗
