At night, she starts talking to Braden through their shared fence. It’s the only place she can be herself, whoever that is.Then she starts falling for Braden. Hard. Kasie West ReRead number 3 Boy is this reread of everything necessary becauss my opinion changed quite a bit. Charlie was kind of annoying tbh... Her opinion on girls kind of bothered me. She just seemed to think in stereotypes and reduce them to make up and boy talks which is not true at all. It also made her superficial and less likeable. Same with her annoyance at Amber at times. I did like her development tough. Also the family dynamic was really cute. I felt like so many things were happening during the last few pages that the romance kind of fell flat or at least got the short end of the stick. It was cute, no doubt, but overall it didn't seem to be as important as Charlie's personal stuff. Even still, those darker themes were just surface level and nothing too detailed / deep. Which is kind of a bummer as they are important problems that should not be glossed over. First Read: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Reread: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I read this book about a week ago and already now I don't remember much of it. This is definitely no good sign. I did enjoy the book though, it was a cute and fast read but unfortunately it didn't impress me as much as I hoped it would. The characters felt distant and I couldn't feel the chemistry between them.

I liked it so much that I found it to be too short.
