About Percival Everett

Percival Everett, geboren 1956 in Fort Gordon/Georgia, ist Schriftsteller und Professor für Englisch an der University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Er hat zahlreiche Romane, Erzählungen und Lyrikbände veröffentlicht. Dafür wurde er vielfach ausgezeichnet. Bei Hanser erschienen zuletzt die Romane »Erschütterung« (2022), »Die Bäume« (2023) sein Roman »James« (2024), für den er den National Book Award und den Pulitzer-Preis für Belletristik erhielt, sowie seine brillante Satire »Dr. No« (2025). Im Hanser-Taschenbuch ist »Ausradiert« (2026) erschienen.
