Virgin Hearts (Plum Valley Cowboys Book 2)

"La segunda partes no son iguales de buenas qué las primeras" y sin duda este según do libro te muestra una idea de eso. Entiendo la profesión de Mateo, pero habían tantas cosas tan fuera de lugar, muchas escenas de sex0 demasiado, pero demasiado innecesario que solo era trabas en el desarollo de la historia. De lo poco que puedo destacar no es sobre Hawthorne, porque su desarollo ni existido, aún cuando era un personaje que podía demostrar más por ser quien es, lo único "bueno" sería mateo y su historia de violencia, la psicología y demás. Hubiera sido ma divertido ver más de Mateo como personal, en vez de literalmente algo como un objeto sexual o un como Hawthorne qué su mera existencia parecía estar basada en el sexo y nada más que eso. Pudieron usar buen una carta del bdsm, pero la autora hizo algo genérico, desde un punto de vista plano y con nada de representación real.

Awww, this was cute! I now really felt at home in Plum Valley and can't wait for the next books (I'll keep this short so I can start book 3 asap). Mateo and how he opened himself up was SO sweet and well elaborated, I loved his whole perspective on life. Hawthorne also was his perfect counterpart, I loved their vibes and chemistry from the beginning. I actually thought that I really want to get to know them and read about them because they got me enchanted from page 1. Speaking about p0rn0graphy/s3xwork as a normal job was refreshing and I'll read Elite 8 studios really soon! I loved the lightheartedness over most of the book, that was just the perfect small town vibe. And the more emotional topics were also handled well, even tho I would have loved to see more of Mateo's therapy journey. In the middle part, it was a tad too long for my liking, but I also don't really know if high paced books and a relaxing country atmosphere go well together 😂 All in all, I liked this book a lot and even a bit more than book 1 (which got me crying, and I love that). 

The general concept that prostitution is a perfectly normal job is truly well done. I love how it's portrayed not as cheating, but simply as work. The fact that he was also studying and had his life together showed that prostitution can indeed be just a side hustle - I like that. I also love how confident he was, openly doing photoshoots and such. It's a very sweet story about how they got together. I would have liked it if he hadn't completely dropped the profession right away, perhaps still doing a calendar or some photos, but that's a minor note. Overall, the storyline is very sweet and well thought out.
