The Honeys ist so ein Buch, dass mich echt zweigespalten zurücklässt. Ich glaube ich mochte die Prämisse mehr als die Umsetzung. Das Buch hat gute Momente und wird im letzten Drittel auch spannend. Ich persönlich bin mit dem Schreibstil nicht ganz warm geworden. Der Autor schreibt sehr deskriptiv. Dadurch haben sich die ersten 200 Seiten aber auch etwas gezogen. Das Ende war für mich einfach ein kompletter Fiebertraum. Wer Bock auf pure Vibes und einen super deskriptiven poetischen Schreibstil hat, ist bei dem Buch glaub ich gut aufgehoben.

Wow, was eine wilde Fahrt! Für mich jetzt schon in meiner Top 5 des Jahres 23 und wahrscheinlich eines der besten Horrorbücher überhaupt. Stellt euch vor, Bienen mit fraglichem Ursprung die aber ALLES über das Universum und die Zeit wissen, werden von Mädchen gehalten, die so Menschen manipulieren können. Klingt weird? Ist es auch, aber es liest sich so gut! Plottwist über Plottwist und über allem dieses warme zückersüße Gefühl von Honig auf der Zunge.
