Description

An epic queer love story from the author of The Honeys and Reverie about finding yourself after losing love.
When I see him, I see us. How we came together, what we created, what we ruined.
The only way to understand how we fell apart is to understand what we were made of in the first place.
Raffy can make anything. He can bedazzle, sew, stitch, drape, and turn the most ordinary objects into fabulous costumes. This year he is determined to win the biggest cosplay competition in Boston. There's only one small problem... Raffy's ex-boyfriend, Luca, is his main competition.
Last year Luca and Raffy made the perfect team after serendipitously meeting in the rhinestone aisle at the local craft store-or at least Raffy thought they did. But Luca's fear of coming out to his family and Raffy's insistence on perfection when it came to their art, caused their relationship to crash and burn. And Raffy has finally picked up the pieces and is determine to have the major comeback he knows he deserves.
But when Raffy ends up partnering with Luca on his most ambitious build yet, he'll have to juggle unresolved feelings for the boy who broke his heart and his own self-doubt as he works to get everything he's ever wanted...and maybe the boy too.

Review: Be Dazzled . Be Dazzled was the first book I've read in March. Let's talk about the cover first: First of you have a black background and on it stands the book title in red pinkish writing. Around the title and in the title you can see lots of sequins. In my opinion the cover fits perfectly with what the books is about. . The book Be Dazzled by Ryan La Sala is about crafting, cosplay and love. . Raffy us a kind of famous Cosplayer on the platform Ion. There he is known as CraftRafty. For the first time he competes in a cosplay convention. There he sees his ex-boyfriend Luca after some month again. Little does he know that Luca will be a big help for him. . Be Dazzled is Ryan's second book. He already catches me with his debut 'Reverie'. Be Dazzled doesn't just show the cosplay convention, we also read into how Raffy and Luca met. Since I'm very curious about crafting and cosplaying I was very excited to pick this up. It was incredible to look into the cosplaying world and I fell in love with the characters. . Be Dazzled got 5 stars as well, it catches me the plot was amazing. The characters were great. The twist at the end was just *chefs kiss*. I'm excited to read more from Ryan La Sala. He is now one of my favourite authors.

2.5 it was kinda... meh i didn't get attached to the characters which is the most important thing for me in contemporary novels. also, it read almost like a middle grade book and i wasn't expecting it to be written this way. nothing wrong with middle grade, just expected this novel to be more mature.
