If you know me, I really like the pretty little liars book collection and I have read all the books already once. As of late 2025 I decided to reread the whole collection again just because I bought them all in late 2022 and so I already have all of them laying around and I see them mostly every single day. In this book everything that is happening is connected to the last couple books especially connected to book 9 and book 10 so you should read those two books 1st if you haven’t already before you check out book number 11 Honestly, I don’t even know what to say about the ending of this book because it’s definitely something weird that the girls get literally chased by this woman who turns out to be the stepmom of a girl that was killed in book number nine that somehow ended up getting to know to Emily while Emily was pregnant and then decided that she wants to pay for Emily‘s baby and wants that baby, but Emily decides against it because Emily notices that this woman is kind of weird and acting weird and it’s getting worse and worse overtime and now this woman suddenly shows up and it’s connected to all of the other girls so they think this woman is a It’s kind of messy that whenever there’s a new person showing up or someone that is acting a little bit strange to girls immediately think that this person has to be a even though a was already killed multiple times in the first 10 books so I don’t get why I keep on thinking that a is yet another person, even though he either got already caught or got killed before but still a exists and it’s tormenting the girls This book collection is really good if you’re looking for a fast paced books to read and also if you’re looking for a bigger book collection to follow along because there is a total of 18 or 19 books so you’re definitely spend a lot of time reading and honestly since it’s fast paced books you get through down really fast and you can read multiple of them in a day if you want to and I personally like reading them while being on vacation because each book has a specific topic like summer or winter time and if you read them during that specific season of the year, it just feels a lot better to read this book
Actually, I don’t have many bad things to say about this one there was only one thing I kind of hated and that was that a few chapters were like placeholders but that’s all.Since I did not enjoyed the last two books 9-10 I hadn’t really had any high hopes for this one but turned out that this one isn’t bad and also made me cry in the end too - that hadn’t been happening in all the other 10 books before. I like how the story behind Emily’s baby gets explained and how not only Tabitha is dead but her stepmother is dead too. I know this sounds cruel but they both weren’t good people and were messing around with the girls.I also like how Aria and Meredith are becoming friends slowly because Meredith told her that she felt sorry for what she had done to Aria and her family. I think it was time for Meredith to say that. Overall, a great book although I have seen a lot of bad review here and on other sites and also on YouTube but for me personal this book is a five star one since it was better than book 9 and 10 in total
Um es mit Macklemore und Ryan Lewis Worten zu sagen: "This is fucking awesome". Have you read these books yet? Ich bin so was von vernarrt und süchtig nach diesen Büchern, dass es mir unmöglich ist aufzuhören, wenn ich erst einmal angefangen habe. Gleich vom ersten Band an hatte mich diese Geschichte fest in ihrem Griff. Es war mir unmöglich länger als einen Tag zu warten bevor ich wusste, wie es weiter geht. Ein Buch nach dem Anderen habe ich mir gekauft; immer im 1-Tages-Takt. Und auch jetzt kann ich einfach nicht davon lassen und bin so froh, dass Sara Shepard sich dazu entschieden hatte, doch noch ein paar Teile raus zu bringen, bevor sie sich dazu entschließt, die Geschichte um unsere Lieblings-Liars ganz Ruhen zu lassen. Ich liebe ihren Schreibstil. Er hat so was mysteriöses, etwas total freches und jugendliches. Du versuchst die Geschichte mit den Händen zu fassen, aber du schaffst es einfach nicht, weil sie dir zwischendurch immer wieder durch die Finger hindurch gleitet. In dem einen Moment glaubst du, du hättest das große Geheimnis um A gelüftet doch nur wenige Sekunden später stehen wieder andere Türen offen, andere Vermutungen wurden angestellt und wieder hast du etwas ganz anderes im Sinn. Sara Shepard schafft es, ihre Leser so sehr zu verwirren, dass ihnen gar nichts mehr übrig bleibt, immer und immer weiter zu lesen. Eigentlich ein guter Schachzug, wenn man seine Bücher auch verkaufen möchte. Es ist eine Sucht die entsteht, sobald man mit dem ersten Band anfängt. Es gibt kein Weg zurück. Das ist es, was diese Bücher meiner Meinung nach aus macht. Sara Shepard ist einfach eine wunderbare Autorin und ich beneide sie total um ihr schriftstellerisches Talent. Zu den Charakteren muss ich glaube ich nicht groß etwas sagen. Sowohl die vier Pretty Little Liars als auch sämtliche anderen Protagonisten, welche, die bereits von Beginn dabei sind und welche, die erst neu dazu gekommen sind, entwickeln sich von Kapitel zu Kapitel, von Buch zu Buch weiter. Es macht unglaublich Spaß ihr Leben quasi an ihrer Seite "mit zu erleben". Man fiebert richtig mit, malt sich aus, was man selbst in der Situation getan hätte. Ich finde zu diesen Büchern kann man nicht viel sagen, da man einfach zu viel verraten würde. Gerade solche Bücher muss man einfach selber lesen, man muss diese Gefühl erfahren; man muss einfach selbst herausfinden, ob diese Bücher einen in den Bann ziehen oder nicht. Wenn man vorher zu viel weiß, ist der ganze Zauber verflogen ... deshalb bleibt es nun auch bei dieser für mich ungewöhnlich kurzen Rezension. Ich möchte euch nicht zu viel verraten und hoffe, dass ihr selbst auch zu den Büchern greift und euch fesseln lasst von dieser unglaublich aufregenden, actionreichen, geheimnisvollen, verrückten und romantischen Geschichte von Sara Shepard. Fazit: Ein totales Muss für jede Leseratte. Ich kann diese Reihe nur empfehlen und hoffe, dass noch ganz viele andere Menschen diese tollen Bücher entdecken und lesen werden.
