Ich musste dieses Buch in Englisch als Schullektüre lesen und… Ich hätte nicht gedacht das diese Geschichte und vor allem dieses Ende mich so mit nimmt. Die ersten Kapitel dachte ich mir erst noch das es eine relativ langweilige Lektüre ist aber je weiter ich kam desto mehr hat sich diese Meinung geändert. Das Buch war von Englisch her leicht zu lesen und der Schreibstil hat mich auch gefallen. Ich werde bestimmt in der Zukunft noch ein Buch von John Boyne lesen und direkt mit einer anderen Einstellung an die Geschichte gehen.
