Der Zeichenstil ist sehr klar und detailreich. Mir ist er vllt ein bisschen zu cute, aber das spielt keine große Rolle. Was mir besonders gut gefällt, dass die Panel gut ausgefüllt wurden, egal ob mit oder ohne Hintergrund. Wow. Das war eine emotionale Achterbahnfahrt! Die Geschichte kreist um das Thema der sexuellen Belästigung und schafft es die Gefühlt der Charaktere hervorragend zu transportieren. Nicht nur einmal lief es mir einkalt den Rücken herunter. Das ist harter Tobak. Das krasse Thema und der niedliche Zeichenstil sind Gegensätze wie sie auch inhaltlich abgebildet werden. Die Umsetzung des Themas und der Gesichte ist toll und wird mit der nötigen Ernsthaftigkeit behandelt. Für Storys wie diese die richtigen Worte zu finden ist schwer. Am besten ihr macht euch selbst ein Bild. Vorausgesetzt das Thema triggert euch nicht zu sehr. Warum ich einen Stern abziehe, bei so einer Rezension. Gute Frage. Das liegt daran, dass es manchmal etwas sprunghaft in der Erzählweise war und so wichtig ich das Thema finde, es schön gewesen wäre, hätte man diesen Generalverdacht vielleicht ein wenig anders aufgebaut. Beim Lesen hatte ich schnell das Gefühl, dass es normal ist, dass das allen, immer passiert und es nur davon anhängt wie die Frau damit umgeht. Da fehlte mir vielleicht noch ein bisschen mehr normales drum herum und eventuell ein bisschen weniger Pauschalisierung.

Something happens at a fan event that causes her to quit the band, change her name, and move schools to where she’s anonymous. I enjoyed the story for the most part. There were times when the flashbacks or story transitions were somewhat confusing, but it could have just been because the version I read didn’t have the completed artwork and polished edges. I am curious how the story will continue so I might continue with it if I come across new volumes in the future.
