They knew that they would lose all their privacy for the rest of their lives when they became actors. They are the ones who made that decision, not me. That's a price you have to pay for fame. Last Seen Online is a very overwhelming and captivating book! I came across this wonderful book rather by chance...3 books for the price of 2...but it was definitely the right book! The last two chapters were particularly impressive. I was so captivated by the revelations and twists that it was impossible to stop reading. I also really liked the structure of the book. Each chapter started from the point of view of our main protagonist Delilah and always ended with a post from @GottieWrites (you'll find out who that is). I really like the QR code at the back of the book, which you can use to access Gottie's posts and find out more about her. The pleasant chapter lengths make it a very quick read. I don't want to take too much away, so grab this book and let Last Seen Online cast its spell on you just like it did me. It‘s like Gottie said… Our secrets aren't really so secret, if you know where to look. ______Spoiler______ 𝐈 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐢𝐭,𝐬 𝐰𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞. Delilah is such a smart and brave girl! The fact that she recorded Anya's unwanted confession and hid her phone forward-looking in the sofa...simply brilliant! Without this proof, no one would probably have believed her story...then it would have been her word against that of a respected celebrity. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫. 𝐒𝐡𝐞,𝐝 𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐡 𝐭𝐨𝐨. What is wrong with Anya? How can you be so unscrupulous and how can you not care about your own children? Once again, she is the perfect example of how first impressions are usually wrong. 𝐃𝐨𝐧,𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐭. 𝐈𝐭,𝐬 𝐚 𝐛𝐢𝐠 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞. 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐚 𝐥𝐨𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐭. I am so happy that children don't necessarily take after their parents! At first I was a bit suspicious of Sawyer...but he is such a dear and true friend! Especially for Delilah...he saved her life. I was glad to see Livvy and Sawyer talking to each other again. I was even more surprised that Anya prevented any attempts at contact between the two of them. 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐨𝐟 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐚 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝. Both Delilah and Sawyer really had to go through a lot in this book! The constant nightmares...fighting for his life...the helpless scene was written so damn realistically. And Sawyer, who saw her being thrown overboard, thought he was losing her...and then his parents in prison.... Nevertheless, or probably precisely because of this, the two of them fit together so well. You can only wish for a friend like Sawyer...he is so attentive and knows exactly when you need him. I really like the two of them together. 𝐖𝐞,𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐞, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐭? 𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐮𝐬. 𝐈 𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐈 𝐤𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐢𝐭. Delilah said the Saffitz family was so kind and perfect...now in the last chapter she's cursing herself. It demands very high and above all unscrupulous prices to become famous. A real person actually murdered someone and you're writing romantic fix-it fic about it? - It's frightening how greedy some people on social media are for gossip. The main thing is to enjoy gossip and trash at other people's expense. Terrible!!! When Delilah found out that her mom was Gottie, I was just speechless. But everything points to it...almost sounded like there would be a second volume. I would be happy about that.
