"Here's one thing I know for certain: I'll never see you again. And if I never see you again, then in fifty years, the world will end." -Yejun
Yang Mina, descended from a Japanese dragon god, was born with the power to travel through time, and has spent her life training to take her place in the Descendants, a secret organization whose purpose is to protect the timeline. But since moving to Seoul, everything is falling apart. Mina has discovered that the Descendants are corrupt, that her sister has been erased from existence, and that she can't pass Calculus, which puts her mission to kiss the cutest boy in her year at risk.
With her very existence on the line, Mina decides to tread a dangerous path: team up with a handsome rogue agent named Yejun, who has a plan to free the Descendants from the corrupt influence, and (hopefully) restore Mina's sister. Between class and their time travel dates, Mina can't stop herself from falling for the mysterious Yejun. Yet, as Mina grows closer to Yejun, she also grows closer to discovering the truth, which may be the very thing that breaks her...

Timey-Wimey but make it romantic and cute First a disclaimer: with time-travel stories, I am always happy to just roll with the timey‑wimey of it all — I don’t really care about strict timeline physics as long as I’m entertained by the story. That said, I’m not sure how much this will hold up for someone who really needs their time-travel physics to make perfect sense. Kylie Lee Baker has now become an auto-read author of mine, as she never disappoints in several genres. I loved the romance — absolutely adorable, a cinnamon roll of an MMC, great interactions and banter, and you can't help but root for these kids. Mina and Yejun’s chemistry made the story feel warm and grounded, especially amidst the twists and paradoxes. The best thing though is the time-travel and the exploration of the butterfly effect. There are "Descendants" and people trying to repair the timeline. However, things may not be as they seem, and there's higher powers that follow their very own, sinister causes. Mina also has her very own reasons to travel time, searching for a sister she never knew. Or did she? Oh and also: we are talking about a Japanese dragon god. And if this mix doesn't get you hooked, I don't know what will. I loved the narration of this. Mirai does a perfect job of bringing the cozy, the action and even the angst. 4.5/5 stars Thank you @netgalley and @dreamscape_media for the eARC! #IllFindYouWhereTheTimelineEnds #KylieLeeBaker #TimeTravelRomance #Bookstagram
