Puh... Das war anders als erwartet. Remi und ihr Bruder Jude wollen ein geerbtes Haus renovieren um es dann gewinnbringend zu verkaufen. Doch der Ort Grimstone und dessen Einwohner sind anders als erwartet, ganz besonders ihr Nachbar Dane. Seltsame Dinge geschehen und Dane gerät schnell in Verdacht, doch Remi fühlt sich auch ziemlich angezogen von ihm. Und bald weiß sie nicht mehr wem sie glauben soll. Wenn der extreme spice nicht gewesen wäre hätte es ein 5 Sterne read werden können. Wer Probleme mit dominatem Verhalten und Gewalt hat sollte das Buch besser nicht lesen. Den Rest der Geschichte fand ich ziemlich spannend und die Auflösung kam ziemlich unerwartet.

Ich finde Sophie Lark’s Bücher echt gut, auch Grimstone hat mir super gefallen. Die Mystery Storyline, welche sich durch die ganze Geschichte gezogen hat, war richtig gut. Das Ende habe ich nicht kommen sehen!!! Sehr spicy und teilweise muss man echt schauen, ob man das so mit seinem Gewissen vereinbaren kann. Aber mir hat’s gut gefallen :)
I kinda had high expectations for this book and so I was a little disappointed. I though it would be a little darker and more mysterious. Unfortunately I also wasn’t a fan of the spice even though I usually love the way Sophie writes spicy scenes. I don’t know - it just wasn’t my cup of tea I guess. Still a good book, which is perfekt for Halloween time.

Den Twist am Ende habe ich echt nicht kommen sehen, obwohl er für mich etwas zu unrealistisch war aber es war sehr sehr spannend zu lesen. Das ganze Spuky Thema hat mir sehr gut gefallen der vibe war immer so schön düster. Mir haben viele Quotes gefallen, vor allem was die Message des Buches angeht🫶🏻

Wie jedes Buch von Sophie Lark einfach grandios. Sehr düsteres Setting. Ich habe mich teilweise wie ein Detektiv gefühlt um die Ganzen Geheimnisse aufzudecken. Ein Plottwist jagd den nächsten und mit dem Ende hätte ich definitiv nicht gerechnet.
Didn't expect that turn at the end? What the hell?? Alright, please read this book. There's mystery, and ghosts? Like not many but there is a ghost! And the background stories are sad, like sad as fuck if you take a liking to Dane, our MMC. Oh and Age Gap! Heat me out, AGE GAP! I devoured that book, and I would read it again and again. It's sooo good, love the settings, the idea and the characters. Remi's a little firecracker! 🧨

Dies ist nicht mein erstes Buch von Sophia Lark und eigentlich mag ich ihre Bücher und habe mich sehr auf diese Buch gefreut aber was war das für ein Trip. Man muss wissen die Bücher von ihr sind immer sehr sehr spicy aber das Buch hatte gefühlt nur noch spice 😅 ne Charakterentwicklung oder geschwiegen den eine Story line hatte das Buch nicht 🙈 auch die Anziehung oder die Chemie zwischen den beiden Protagonisten war für mich nicht greifbar. Viele Dinge wurden auch bis zum Ende nicht erklärt, was für mich einfach super frustrierend war, da ich teilweise nur deswegen noch weitergelesen habe. Ich kann Sophie Lark empfehlen aber nicht das Buch.
