Der Drache stellt sich seinem Schicksal
Das Rad der Zeit dreht sich weiter und wir begleiten Rand, Perrin, Mat, Nyneave und Egwene weiter auf ihren Wegen zu ihrer Bestimmung. Mir gefällt diese High Fantasy Serie sehr gut. Die Charaktere sind sehr gut und detailliert beschrieben, das World Building und das Magiesystem außergewöhnlich. Ich lese gespannt weiter und kann sie euch wirklich empfehlen.
Der Drache ist endlich wiedergeboren! Und die Aiel haben endlich ihren großen Auftritt, unter ihnen auch Aviendha. Dieses Volk ist eines meiner liebsten, vor allem aufgrund ihrer vollkommen unterschiedlichen Lebensweise und wie sie von den anderen Völkern deswegen betrachtet werden. Mit den Forsaken treten hier auch Gegenspieler auf den Plan, die noch einmal einen Ticken schlimmer sind als die Trollocs und Fades aus vergangenen Bänden, auch wenn hier wirklich deutlich ist, wie langatmig das ganze ist. Charaktere werden eingeführt und tauchen dann fast nicht mehr auf und fast nichts hat wirklich einen Höhepunkt oder eine Auflösung. Mein bester Freund beim Lesen ist meist mein Handy mit dem Wheel of Time-Wiki, damit ich schnell nachschlagen kann, ob ich bei dem x.ten Nebencharakter bereits wieder vergessen habe, dass er auch schon in Band 1 kurz vorkam - und dabei habe ich alle drei Bände innerhalb von drei Wochen gelesen. Wenn es jetzt weitergeht, wird das vermutlich noch schlimmer. Dennoch weiterhin ein großes Lesevergnügen und ich werde die Reihe bald fortsetzen!
