Ich hab geweint und dieses Mal nicht, weil es so schmerzhaft war zu lesen, sondern weil die Liebe von Sydney und Adrian mich einfach überrannt hat. Wie die Zwei sich gegenseitig halten und wieder hoch holen, wenn sie fallen. Wie sie sich immer wieder zeigen, dass die Liebe, die sie für den anderen empfinden, durch nichts und niemanden verschwindet. Adrian hat in der zweiten Hälfte des Buches mein Herz erneut für sich erobert und Sydney ist eine solche Powerfrau. Ich bin so stolz auf die Zwei. Ich war schon in Vampire Academy kein Fan von Vasilisa und auch im Spin Off hat sie sich nicht beliebt gemacht. Für den nächsten Band wünsche ich mir, dass wir mehr lesen, wie das Geschehene sich auf Sydney ausgewirkt hat, da es bisher etwas kurz kam.
Die Spannung, die Richelle Mead in Band 4 aufgebaut hat, steigert sich in Teil 5 drastisch. Alles nimmt an Fahrt auf, gewinnt an Schnelligkeit und Brisanz. Es hat großen Spaß gemacht die Geschichte weiter zu verfolgen auch wenn ich gerade zu Beginn des Buches vor allem Adrian am liebsten in den Hintern getreten hätte. Der Einfallsreichtum von Mead ist wirklich super. Ich bin wirklich beeindruckt, wie sie die Alchemisten darstellt.. das ist absolut krank, was da abgeht.. Vor allem das Ende ist so schnell, dass man kaum mitbekommt was eigentlich los ist. Natürlich gibt es hier und da auch Kritikpunkte.. es scheint ganz so, als wäre Sydney unzerstörbar und sehr viel mächtiger als sonst irgendjemand, was ich irgendwie nicht ganz realistisch finde. Gleichzeitig gibt es um die beiden herum wohl ständig irgendwelche Insta-Loves, die aus dem Nichts entstehen, was mich einfach nur belustigt. So ganz ernst kann ich das Ganze dann doch nicht mehr nehmen, einfach weil ich vermutlich ein klein wenig zu alt für die Buchreihe geworden bin. Doch der Cliffhanger hat dann noch einmal alles gegeben, obwohl ich schon eine Ahnung habe, was los sein könnte.. mal sehen, ob es sich als wahr herausstellt.
Dieser Band war sehr anders als seine Vorgänger. Es war eine ganz andere Atmosphäre, was natürlich durch die enorme räumliche Trennung verursacht wurde. Ich muss zugeben, dass ich nicht ganz so Feuer und Flamme war wir sonst und auch am Ende konnte ich nicht fangirlen, aber ich liebe diese Reihe und möchte wirklich wissen wie es ausgeht! Gleichzeitig will ich aber nicht, dass es zu Ende geht..

I've waited so long (well, maybe not that long) for it and when I finally had it all I wanted to do was scream and hug it and kiss it and dance with it and whatever else you can do with a book! I freaking love the Bloodlines series and my precious Adrian Ivashkov! He's one of my favorite characters ever and together with Sydney definitely one of my alltime OTP's! But first I have to declare my love for Sydney! She's such a strong, likeable and amazing character! Throughout the whole book you can see HOW strong she really is and that is just inspiring! Because no matter what the Alchemists did to her - she was stronger. They didn't break her. She held on to her love for Adrian, even managed to help others and all while terrible things happened to her during re-education. God, to read the details about what really happened broke my heart. Especially when she was in that cell in the beginning. She seemed helpless and hopeless and I was already afraid they'd get to her, break her and we'd loose Sydney. I was scared she'd never be the same. Or when she realized - the first night she cut off the gas to her room - that: "There'd been no dream. Adrian hadn't come." - MY HEART SHATTERED!!! "Because I don’t do things in halves, Mom. Especially when it comes to love." And Adrian. Oh, Adrian. I fell in love with him all over again, yes. He was ready to do whatever it needed to get Sydney back and that was just really admirable of him. At times I was a bit annoyed with him, mainly when he was back at the Court and started drinking again but once he "got his shit together", he was back in all his glory, fighting to get the love of his life back. Also what he did with spirit and everything ... he was just gorgeous. You could really feel his love for Sydney. That she means everything to him. The story wasn't as action-filled as in the other books but well, it was kind of terrible. The whole re-education system and the Alchemists were frightening. It was horrible to read what they all had to go through. Both, Sydney but also Adrian and the rest of the group. Towards the end it gained a little pace. I was constantly nervous and on the edge but there were also some precious happy moments that I kept in my heart while continuing ... THE MARRIAGE! WE HAVE TO TALK ABOUT THE MARRIAGE!!!! Because ... OH MY GOOOOD!!!!! Honestly, I didn't expect that! When he knelt down in front of her ... my heart sped up and I was grinning like a cheshire cat! I EVEN MADE SOME REAL HAPPY NOISES WHEN HE PROPOSED TO HER! And the wedding itself ... I couldn't imagine it better. Well, technically I could. But I wouldn't want to because it was perfect the way it was. Sydney was so happy and I wanted her to be happy. I needed it, after everything she went through. It was just beautiful. *sigh* ♥ I also have to talk about the rest of the group. Just how passionate they all where ... God, if you have friends like that, what else do you need? I loved how they all wanted to help get Sydney back. Friends like them are a true blessing. But at the same time I also felt really sorry, especially for Eddie. Well and the end ... I'm only going to talk about it in Spoilers, ha! WHAT A DAMN CLIFFHANGER! I mean, seriously?!?! Richelle Mead always kills me with them ... I had something in mind like that, ugh! Jill felt just too save and well, I hope she'd be save but obviously not, damnit! And now everything's going to change ... the first and nearest suspicion would be the Alchemists, especially because of all the threats and everything else. Hmmm, but that sounds too easy for me. And what about Lissa and all the other stuff that's going on right now?! Good god. I'm already SUPER EXCITED for "The Ruby Circle" and as it seems we don't even have to wait that long? Silver Shadows fue mucho más de lo que esperaba, en estos momentos estoy en un limbo, con un subidón de satisfacción que solo baja un poco cuando me doy cuenta que este es el penúltimo libro. No sé que va a ser de mi este año con la espera de Ruby Circle. Pero todavía no nos pongamos tristes, te vine a hablar de Silver Shadows. Todos teníamos teorías y 40% de ellas estuvieron equivocadas. ES CRUEL. No te diré exactamente cuales son, no voy a quitarte nada de la experiencia de lo que es leer este libro. Recuerdo que en The Fiery Heart, sino me equivoco, dije que se me hacía difícil seguir a Sydney, era un poco denso. Esto cambia totalmente en Silver Shadows, he disfrutado todo, no sé si es porque la magia ya no es tan protagonista como el libro anterior, sólo sé que empecé a leer y simplemente no pude parar hasta las tres de la mañana y luego tuve que poner mucho esfuerzo en interactuar con gente a la hora del almuerzo, salió mal por cierto. Es un libro en cual las fans más sensibles van a llorar a mares, por cosas malas y por cosas buenas. Richelle es una escritora brillante ¿Una de sus especiales? Los finales traumáticos (como ya se imaginaran este libro no es la excepción) pero cuando escribe romance, Richelle ESCRIBE romance. Romance del tipo que te hace creer que quizá algo como el amor de Adrian y Sydney pueda existir, del tipo que solo quieres abrazarlos y decirles que todo saldrá bien... aunque sabes que será casi imposible, porque al parecer este mundo cruel y malvado no los quiere juntos. Unos días antes de la publicación de Silver Shadows, ya podíamos leer los cinco primeros capítulos ¡Y qué cosa más dolorosa fue eso! Primero Adrian, oh Adrian, quise golpearte, sacudirte y consolarte tantas veces pero te perdono ¿sabes? Porque es parte de tu personalidad, porque si hubiera sido de manera diferente no habrías sido tú. Y luego Lissa, ay Lissa, nunca has sido un personaje muy... entrañable digamos, pero las fans te odiarán en Silver Shadows. Y aunque no lo crean, kittens, yo la entiendo, sé que si nosotras hubiéramos estado en el lugar de Lissa habríamos puesto a toda la Guardia Real en busca de Sydney pero es política kittens, para bien o para mal. Y es lo que me gusta mucho de la escritura de Richelle Mead, el que sus personajes tengan personalidad, nos guste o no. Además recuerden que Richelle no hace las cosas solo porque sí. I will, however, make a exception for you Deben estar preparados para todo tipo de sorpresas, de las buenas, de las malas, de las adorables y las aterradoras. Hay muchos personajes nuevos, recuerda que nadie es lo que parece, también hay personajes de los cuales sentimos curiosidad pero no pudimos ver hasta ahora y también veremos a otros que preferiríamos no ver nunca más. ¿Valdrá la pena todo el dolor y la tortura? ¿Adrian y Sydney arreglarlo todo? Also ich weiß echt nicht was ich sagen soll, außer das mir dieses Buch aus der ganzen Reihe wohl mit am Besten gefallen hat ( trotz der Tatsache, dass wir nur sehr wenig Angeline hatten. Denn ich finde Angeline mit ihre Unwissenheit extrem amüsant.) Sidney war einfach klasse in diesem Buch. Einer der Gründe warum mir diese Reihe nie so gut gefallen hat wie Vampire Academy war , dass ich mit Sidney nie wirklich warm geworden bin. Sie war zwar schlau, aber so langweilig und stoisch teilweise und ich habe einfach dieses Kickass Gen vermisst, dass Rose hatte und Sidney in diesem Buch endlich auch. Ich meine Sidney ist in diesem Re-education Center, dass für mich eine Mischung aus Gefängnis und mittelalterlichen Irrenanstalt war (von den Methoden her), aber sie lässt sich nicht unterkriegen. Sie bleibt stark, will fliehen, praktiziert fucking Magie in einem Re-education Center der Alchemisten (!!!!)und ist einfach Kickass. So sehr ich Sidney in diesem Buch in mein Herz schließen konnte, so sehr hat Adrian mich zu Beginn frustriert. Denn seitdem Sidney weg ist, lässt er sich vollkommen gehen und versinkt in einem Sumpf aus Selbstmitleid und zu viel Alkohol. Ich muss sagen, die ersten hundert Seiten aus Adrians Sicht waren wirklich grauenvoll zu lesen, weil ich so frustriert war und ihn einfach mal durchschütteln wollte, damit er wieder zur Verstand kommt. Was ich auch nicht verstehen konnte war warum er Rose und Lissa nicht erzählt hat , dass er Sidney liebt!! Ich bin mit hundertprozentig sicher, dass zumindest Rose ihm dann sofort geholfen hätte. Ich meine Rose kennt sich aus mit verbotener Liebe und darin, den anderen zu retten, auch wenn alle anderen es für unmöglich halten. Außerdem hätte ich zu gern mehr Rose gehabt, denn so sehr mir Sidney ans Herz wächst, sie ist nicht Rose. Doch sobald Adrian sich wieder gefangen hat, wird das Buch richtig gut. Es ist aktiongeladen und die letzten mindesten hundert Seiten des Buches habe ich da gesessen und jeden Moment darauf gewartet, dass etwas grauenvolles passiert. Außerdem gab es wunderbare Sydrian Szene. Ich habe Sydrian nicht sehr geshippt bis zu diesem Buch und jetzt , jetzt shippe ich Sydrian mit vollem Herzen und all meiner Liebe. Am Ende überrascht uns Richelle mit einem grauenvollen Cliffhanger und ich kann gar nicht abwarten wie es weitergeht. Denn es sieht echt so aus ,als würde es Krieg mit den Alchemisten geben und ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, wie man das klären soll und Jill!! Sie ist zwar nicht mein Lieblingscharakter , aber die gute soll trotzdem wieder auftauchen und die große Frage ist wer sie entführt hat ( obwohl ich da meine Vermutungen habe..) und wie Jills Verschwinden Lissas Herrschaft beeinflussen wird... Aber alles in allem war dieses Buch sehr gut. Es war spannend und endlich mal aktiongeladen und Adrian und Sidney sind kickass und man merkt in diesem Buch einfach wie sehr sie zusammengehören .

Hay muchos personajes nuevos, recuerda que nadie es lo que parece, también hay personajes de los cuales sentimos curiosidad pero no pudimos ver hasta ahora y también veremos a otros que preferiríamos no ver nunca más. ¿Valdrá la pena todo el dolor y la tortura? ¿Adrian y Sydney arreglarlo todo? Also ich weiß echt nicht was ich sagen soll, außer das mir dieses Buch aus der ganzen Reihe wohl mit am Besten gefallen hat ( trotz der Tatsache, dass wir nur sehr wenig Angeline hatten. Denn ich finde Angeline mit ihre Unwissenheit extrem amüsant.) Sidney war einfach klasse in diesem Buch. Einer der Gründe warum mir diese Reihe nie so gut gefallen hat wie Vampire Academy war , dass ich mit Sidney nie wirklich warm geworden bin. Sie war zwar schlau, aber so langweilig und stoisch teilweise und ich habe einfach dieses Kickass Gen vermisst, dass Rose hatte und Sidney in diesem Buch endlich auch. Ich meine Sidney ist in diesem Re-education Center, dass für mich eine Mischung aus Gefängnis und mittelalterlichen Irrenanstalt war (von den Methoden her), aber sie lässt sich nicht unterkriegen. Sie bleibt stark, will fliehen, praktiziert fucking Magie in einem Re-education Center der Alchemisten (!!!!)und ist einfach Kickass. So sehr ich Sidney in diesem Buch in mein Herz schließen konnte, so sehr hat Adrian mich zu Beginn frustriert. Denn seitdem Sidney weg ist, lässt er sich vollkommen gehen und versinkt in einem Sumpf aus Selbstmitleid und zu viel Alkohol. Ich muss sagen, die ersten hundert Seiten aus Adrians Sicht waren wirklich grauenvoll zu lesen, weil ich so frustriert war und ihn einfach mal durchschütteln wollte, damit er wieder zur Verstand kommt. Was ich auch nicht verstehen konnte war warum er Rose und Lissa nicht erzählt hat , dass er Sidney liebt!! Ich bin mit hundertprozentig sicher, dass zumindest Rose ihm dann sofort geholfen hätte. Ich meine Rose kennt sich aus mit verbotener Liebe und darin, den anderen zu retten, auch wenn alle anderen es für unmöglich halten. Außerdem hätte ich zu gern mehr Rose gehabt, denn so sehr mir Sidney ans Herz wächst, sie ist nicht Rose. Doch sobald Adrian sich wieder gefangen hat, wird das Buch richtig gut. Es ist aktiongeladen und die letzten mindesten hundert Seiten des Buches habe ich da gesessen und jeden Moment darauf gewartet, dass etwas grauenvolles passiert. Außerdem gab es wunderbare Sydrian Szene. Ich habe Sydrian nicht sehr geshippt bis zu diesem Buch und jetzt , jetzt shippe ich Sydrian mit vollem Herzen und all meiner Liebe. Am Ende überrascht uns Richelle mit einem grauenvollen Cliffhanger und ich kann gar nicht abwarten wie es weitergeht. Denn es sieht echt so aus ,als würde es Krieg mit den Alchemisten geben und ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, wie man das klären soll und Jill!! Sie ist zwar nicht mein Lieblingscharakter , aber die gute soll trotzdem wieder auftauchen und die große Frage ist wer sie entführt hat ( obwohl ich da meine Vermutungen habe..) und wie Jills Verschwinden Lissas Herrschaft beeinflussen wird... Aber alles in allem war dieses Buch sehr gut. Es war spannend und endlich mal aktiongeladen und Adrian und Sidney sind kickass und man merkt in diesem Buch einfach wie sehr sie zusammengehören .
