Das Buch hat mich total berührt und trotz anfänglicher Skepsis war ich zum Ende hin absolut begeistert.
Dawn with the Wolf Knight stand schon lange auf meiner Wunschliste. Nachdem ich einen Buchgutschein gewonnen habe, konnte ich dieses Buch endlich von meiner Wunschliste befreien und freute mich unglaublich als dieses Schmuckstück in meinem Briefkasten lag. Und alleine von außen finde ich es einen total Hingucker🥹 die Farben leuchten total schön und in Realität ist es noch viel hübscher als auf den Fotos💙✨️ Zum Inhalt möchte ich kurzfassend sagen, dass sich der Anfang etwas gezogen hat. Ja es sind Dinge geschehen und es hat sich eine Spannung aufgebaut, jedoch hat sich das irgendwie sehr gezogen. Doch beist man sich da erst einmal durch, kann man das Buch gar nicht mehr weglegen. In der langen Version: Elise Kova hat ein unglaubliches Reich erschaffen. Von Vampiren, Elfen, Werwölfen, Geistern (spirit), Hexen und Menschen ist hier alles anzutreffen. Besonders gut hat mir der Fakt gefallen, dass sich die Werwölfe in richtige Wölfe verwandeln und nicht in übermonströße Halb-Mensch Halb-Wolf Kreaturen. In der Geschichte begleiten wir Faelyn, die durch Zufall dem menschlich gewordenen Mond-Geist Aurora begegnet. Sie wird aufgrund einer Reihe an Ereignissen, über die ich hier nicht zu viel verraten möchte🤭, in das Reich der Werwölfe gebracht, wo sie den Wolfskönig Conri heiraten soll. Was für eine Rolle er in dieser Geschichte spielt, müsst ihr wohl selbst herausfinden :) Mischt man nun in die ganze Geschichte einen Wolfsritter namens Evander hinein, der mit Faelyn eine engere Vergangenheit teilt als man glaubt, hat man eigentlich die perfekte Rezeptur für einen spannenden Roman der sich nur schwer mit anderem vergleichen lässt. Besonders gut und herzerwärmend fand ich die Darstellung der bedingungslose Liebe. Nicht zwischen zwei Partnern sondern zwischen zwei Freundinnen. Das wird heutzutage irgendwie viel zu selten in Büchern thematisiert. Achja und habe ich erwähnt das Faelyn eine Hexe ist? 🤭✨️
I really liked this book too. Liked the pacing, plottwists. Gasped at the revelation. Imho this book is well written, it was thoughtful. Loved aurora and Faelyn, bust especially Evander. Would have loved to get to know more of Conri though. Sure we can get a glimpse what his real personality is, but still. Can only recommend this book 🥰
