Sehr gutes Buch
Mir hat das Buch mal wieder sehr gut gefallen. Philippa Gregory schreibt sehr gute Geschichten und das mag ich sehr an ihr.

Chefs Kiss 😙👌🏽 Game of Thrones im England des 15. Jhd.
Ich finde diesen Teil sogar noch besser als den ersten. Vielleicht gerade weil Margarete so ein streitbarer und eher unsympathische Charakter ist. Es ist krass wie Pilippa Gregory es schafft so einen Lesesog zu erzeugen obwohl man weiß was passieren wird, denn der erste Teil spielt zeitlich parallel.

Mir bringt Philippa Gregory wie keine andere die englische Geschichte nahe. Ich war so fasziniert von Margaret Beaufort und für mich war es unglaublich interessant in diesem zweiten Band auf der Seite der Lancasters zu sein. Ich bin jedes Mal schockiert wie mit Frauen damals gehandelt und umgegangen wurde, aber Margaret war so unglaublich stark und hat für ihren Sohn gekämpft. Ich war unglaublich gefesselt von ihrem Leben und bin durch das Buch recht durchgerauscht. Wie auch Band 1 wird mir dieser noch lange im Gedächtnis bleiben.
