🔦 Ich mochte es total gerne, in die sechs unterschiedlichen Liebesgeschichten der jugendlichen People of Color einzutauchen, die alle miteinander verknüpft sind. 💞 Ich fand es toll, dass u. a. queere Geschichten erzählt wurden, aber auch dass kulturelle Einflüsse wie Essen, Musik und Bücher ihren Platz gefunden haben. 🔦 Alle Geschichten finden mehr oder weniger parallel statt und ich fand es schön, wie die unterschiedlichen Schreib- und Erzählstile der Autorinnen zusammen harmoniert haben. Fünf Geschichten wurden für sich in einem Abschnitt erzählt, eine Geschichte jedoch verteilt, dass nach jeder abgeschlossenen Geschichte diese eine Lovestory wieder weiterging. Wahrscheinlich umständlich erklärt, aber ich fand das ganz cool gemacht. 🔦 Meine liebste Geschichte war die der beiden Boys, die in der U-Bahn festsaßen. 🥰 Mich konnten jedoch alle berühren, es gab ein paar Situationen, bei denen ich dachte: “Reden hilft”, aber da die Protas Jugendliche sind und keine erfahrenen Erwachsenen, fand ich diese Hürde nicht so störend. 𝙁𝙖𝙯𝙞𝙩: Das Setting in New York City ohne Strom, das uns in sechs unterschiedliche Lovestories katapultiert, die alle miteinander verknüpft sind, fand ich sehr gelungen und hat mich rundum gut unterhalten. 😊

3.0I loved the Blackout collection and I think it was a nice idea to do something similar but with a winter setting, but I think it lacked a bit of ~variety~ because I feel like every couple in there was going through some conflict/breakup and the characters were quite unlikeable.
