The Scum Villain's Self-Saving System: Ren Zha Fanpai Zijiu Xitong (Novel) Vol. 2

Genauso gut wie der erste Band wenn nicht sogar besser. So viele Plottwists wie auch kleine Intrigen. Man fühlte so viele Emotionen und mehr. Ich liebe die beiden jetzt schon und kann zum Glück gleich mit dem dritten Band starten.

This book was less emotional than the first one, which is a bit sad to me since I enjoy angst. However, I really liked the jokes and the dynamic between the characters, as well as Luo Binghe being misunderstood and depressed,poor guy. I couldn't put this one down yet again. It was really engaging, and it does super well with trope subversion and making fun of bad novels. Personally, I like SQQ, but man, he is dense... I really can't imagine how the two main characters are supposed to date at all at some point. LBH is mentally unstable and borderline abusive while SQQ is stuck with internalised homophobia. I had rather SQQ and YQY get together :") Nonetheless it is a great parody and thus fullfills it's job quite well.

The second volume was even better than the first one. Luo Binghe returns after his 'darkening' and there are even more time skips so most characters are in their 20s now. And oh Boi, the tension is real 👀 You never know how Luo Binghe is going to react and when he is going to snap. But it's still really funny inbetween and I was wheezing at Shen Qingqius comments and oblivious world view 😂 He never imagined that this story could turn into a danmei and with him being the love interest lol. It was hilarious when he finally realized that the main character 'didn't want to kill him but to do him' (which is a direct quote xD). Directly continuing with volume 3, can't wait until it becomes mutual (wonder how that is going to happen lol).
