Also ich das Buch im Buchladen gesehen habe wusste ich direkt das es was besonderes sein wird, und ich würde nicht enttäuscht. Die Charaktere, die Bindungen, die Welt, die Vorgeschichten, alles ist so wunderbar ausgearbeitet und ich konnte das Buch einfach nicht mehr weg legen.

Magisch, Düster und einfach mitreißend
Also ich das Buch im Buchladen gesehen habe wusste ich direkt das es was besonderes sein wird, und ich würde nicht enttäuscht. Die Charaktere, die Bindungen, die Welt, die Vorgeschichten, alles ist so wunderbar ausgearbeitet und ich konnte das Buch einfach nicht mehr weg legen.

Ich habe Band 1-3 Anfang letzten Jahres schon einmal gelesen - oder vielmehr verschlungen. Leider bin ich nicht dazu gekommen, Band 4 zu lesen, als er vor knapp einem Jahr erschien. Und da ich jetzt doch ein wenig lost war, habe ich die Reihe eben nochmal von vorn begonnen. Die ersten Bände waren dabei mein Jahreshighlight 2025 und auch beim Reread hat mich die Geschichte sofort in ihren Bann gezogen.
"You will learn soon enough that being the most cunning and wicked is the only way to survive in a realm of villains, little storm."
Und wir befinden uns tatsächlich in einer düsteren Welt voller Intrigen und Geheimnisse. Die Charaktere sind zudem alle morally grey im dunkleren Bereich und auch auf die eine oder andere Weise zerbrochen.
Tessa's und Theon's Beziehung ist dabei vieles, aber gesund gehört wohl nicht dazu. Trotzdem habe ich für sie mitgefieber. Am besten beschreiben es wohl diese Zitate:
"He's to controlling and you're not controlled enough. You're two forces that should repel each other. Fire and shadows. Light and dark. Beginnings and endings. Instead, you're drawn to each other. "
"I want everything you have to give, and then I want more. I want every piece of you - every secret, every tempest raging in those stormy eyes. I want all your fear and all your pain, all your smiles and all your laughter. I want all your mornings and all your nights, all your days and months and years."
Dabei sind nicht nur die beiden Hauptcharaktere unglaublich interessant, sondern auch die Nebencharaktere sehr gut ausgearbeitet, von denen einige in den Folgebänden auch nich mehr Raum einnehmen.
Insgesamt ein unfassbar gutes Buch und einer meiner All Time Favorites. Dazu kommt, dass ich die Cover einfach unglaublich schön finde.
"Do you know why I like storms? Because it reminds us that even chaos needs to scream sometimes. That even with all the magic and power among the realms and between the stars, even with technology and all the tools we have at our disposal, some things are, in fact, uncontrollable."

I really don't know if i like this book. I'm really into the story, but i hate it so much how they use the fae and i struggle very much with it. But since i can't stop reading it's a good sign that i will like it at the end.
