DNF at 20% There's nothing wrong with this book, I like the characters, the worldbuilding, the relationships the protagonists have with the people around them. Even the writing is nice. It's just kinda boring. They've met, both think the other is exceptionally attractive, Titus is already thinking of marrying her and now we just follow them on dates. It's all cute and all, but they're already both kinda heads over heels falling for each other, and I guess what should make me want to keep reading is that Danica isn't supposed to be dating him bc he's not a witch, but right now the stakes of this romance seem so extremely low that they're nearly nonexistent. As a slow-burn lover, a romance where the main relationship is going this fast is just not interesting to me if there's no outside stakes of any real consequence.
