Interessante Perspektiven zum Nachdenken Aus der feministischen Perspektive unseres Jahrhunderts bzw. unserer Zeit werden vier Mörderinnen des 20.Jahrhunderts und ihre Darstellung der Presse und in der Öffentlichkeit untersucht. Historisch wurden Vorstellungen unabhängiger oder sogar gefährlicher Frauen immer wieder unter den Teppich gekehrt, Regierung, Öffentlichkeit und Presse müssen die Morde erklären und das Volk beruhigen. Das Buch an sich ähnelt einem Essay und deutet auch darauf hin, wie solche Aufzeichnungen häufig vernichtet wurden und den Aufwand, überhaupt Dokumente für die Recherche aufzufinden. Eine fesselndes Erzählung und eine sehr gute Übersetzung.
