Oberflächlicher Read für zwischendurch
Zuerst einmal das positive: dieses Buch ist im Gegensatz zu den anderen, die ich von Márquez gelesen habe, alles andere als langatmig (vermutlich auch, weil es posthum veröffentlicht worden ist). Leicht geschrieben lässt es sich an einem Vormittag entspannt durchlesen. Allerdings ist es nicht nur oberflächlich, sondern auch irgendwie…sinnlos? Eine Frau betrügt einmal im Jahr ihren Mann auf einer Insel. That‘s it. Und wenn sie niemanden findet, mit dem sie Sex haben kann, ist sie mad. Um viel mehr geht es nicht, was das ganze doch enttäuschend macht. Vielleicht habe ich die dahinterliegende Botschaft auch einfach nicht verstanden, aber aus dieser Idee hätte man meiner Meinung nach viel mehr machen können.
Unverhofft eine Novelle die ich liebe
Da das Buch etwas holprig für mich angefangen hat und ich mir bei der Länge nicht sicher war wie viel von der Geschichte wir im Endeffekt haben werden war ich skeptisch. Die Geschichte ist wie eine Erzählung einer bekannten im Café, man kann es nachvollziehen aber man möchte doch nicht in ihren Schuhen stecken. Eine schöne Geschichte über die Ü40 liebe, Sehnsucht und dem vergänglichen Dasein der Frau.
