3.5 This was my second poetry book that I have read. It didn’t quite catch me the way the other did, but it still had it’s strong moments that spoke to my heart a lot. I felt often seen and understood. The rest of the time it was nice to read, pretty. To me this book is about loss. Loss of friends, family, partners. Loss of self. And those are the moments I felt like the author spoke to my heart, cause I expirenced all of those losses. But in the end the book also leaves you with some hope and courage to move forward and not let go of the good things, even if they might seem small in our darkest moments.
