I only read one other book from the lovely author Courtney Peppernell, the well-known first "Pillow Thoughts". I enjoyed "A Month of Sundays" more than the other one, you can feel the warmth and Hope spilled across the pages. I underlined many quotes. It felt like the book hugged me and told me things I needed to hear. Very comforting and cozy <3
Poetry and Prose
In diesem Band der Autorin findet man nicht nur poetry, sondern auch etwas längere Prose-Texte. Hier fand ich es manchmal schade, dass sich einige Bilder, die kreiert wurden doch oft wiederholt haben / ähnlich waren. Insgesamt hätte ich mir dann doch mehr Poetry gewünscht. Die Pillow Thoughts Texte haben mir insgesamt besser gefallen, daher ein Stern Abzug. Aber dennoch tolle und gute Texte, die einen inspirieren und zum nachdenken anregen.

Peppernell begeistert mit ihrer Poesie und ihren Texten. Sie regen zum Nachdenken an. Diesmal geht es um einen Betrug einer geliebten Person. Den musste sie selbst erleben und schrieb auf ihre Weise auf. Es ist auf der einen Seite heilend und auf der anderen Seite zeigt sie viel von sich. Wirklich schön gemacht und toll geschrieben!
