1.0Ich hab das Hörbuch beendet und war einfach nur so… „okay, das war’s jetzt?“ 😭
Also irgendwie war schon Spannung da, ich wollte auch wissen, wie sich alles entwickelt aber im Nachhinein fühlt es sich einfach total leer an. Nichts davon ist wirklich hängen geblieben. Was es für mich echt runtergezogen hat, war die Sprecherin. Es klang nicht so, als würde sie die Story fühlen, sondern eher so, als würde sie sie einfach durchgehen. Gerade bei so einer Story hätte ich mir viel mehr Emotion gewünscht, mehr Druck, mehr dieses „ich bin grad mittendrin“-Gefühl aber das kam leider gar nicht. Und Richtung Ende… ich war ehrlich lost. ✌️💀 Die Story wurde immer komischer und die Entscheidungen der Protagonistin haben sich für mich irgendwann einfach nicht mehr nachvollziehbar angefühlt. Es war nicht dieses „oh mein Gott krass“, sondern eher so ein „hä was passiert hier gerade“. Einzigen Punkt geb ich wirklich für diesen Woman-Rage-Aspekt. Das Thema mit der Wut gegenüber Männern war irgendwie das Einzige, was sich konsequent durchgezogen hat und dem Ganzen noch ein bisschen Identität gegeben hat. ‼️ Persönliches Empfinden, du wirst das vllt ganz anders empfinden🌸

3.0Der Klappentext klang vielversprechend, und der Einstieg in die Geschichte ist mir wirklich leichtgefallen. Besonders die wechselnden Perspektiven zwischen Scarlett und Carly fand ich super spannend. Der Spannungsbogen hat sich langsam und kontinuierlich aufgebaut, und ich dachte wirklich, das könnte ein gutes Buch werden, zumal der erste Twist absolut überraschend kam und mich total gepackt hat. Aber dannwurde es irgendwie wild. Aus einer anfänglichen weiblichen Serienkillerin entwickelte sie sich plötzlich zu etwas ganz anderes: eine radikale, männerhassende Mörderin. Ich hatte mich auf einen spannenden Rache-Thriller gefreut, und nicht auf eine Story über eine Frau, deren Beweggründe gegen Ende immer abstruser wurden. Das hat für mich leider viel kaputt gemacht. Auch wenn das Buch einen interessanten Plot hat und mich der Beginn wirklich gefesselt hat, muss ich sagen, dass das Ende einfach nur weird war. Ich finde nicht, dass man dieses Buch unbedingt gelesen haben muss.
