The Tea Dragon Society
After discovering a lost tea dragon in the marketplace, Greta learns about the dying art form of tea dragon caretaking from the kind tea shop owners, Hesekiel and Erik. As she befriends them and their shy ward, Minette, Greta sees how the craft enriches their lives—and eventually her own.

The Tea Dragon Festival
Rinn has grown up with the Tea Dragons that inhabit their village, but stumbling across a real dragon turns out to be a different matter entirely! Aedhan is a young dragon who was appointed to protect the village, but fell asleep in the forest eighty years ago. With the aid of Rinn’s adventuring uncle Erik and his partner Hesekiel, they investigate the mystery of his enchanted sleep... But Rinn’s real challenge is to help Aedhan come to terms with feeling that he cannot get back the time he has lost.

The Tea Dragon Tapestry
Join Greta and Minette once more for the heartwarming conclusion of the award-winning Tea Dragon series! Over a year since being entrusted with Ginseng's care, Greta still can't chase away the cloud of mourning that hangs over the timid Tea Dragon. Meanwhile, Minette receives a surprise package from the monastery where she was once training to be a prophetess. Told with the same care and charm as the previous installments of the Tea Dragon series, The Tea Dragon Tapestry welcomes old friends and new into a heartfelt story of purpose, love, and growth.

5 stars ꣑ৎ ⋆˙⟡ “Everything that happens is part of your wholeness. The sadness, the loss, the hurt, as well as the joy, the love, the friendship—it is all part of your tapestry. Remember, that you are already whole.” I’ve read The Tea Dragon Series for the second time now, and it still never failed to make me emotional. For a set of short graphic novels, the series dives surprisingly deep into various themes all the while maintaining a light tone, and a solid, beautiful art style. It gives off soft fantasy vibes with its pastel hues and nature-inspired details. It’s really hard not to fall in love with the art style, because it’s screaming cottagecore in the softest and most wholesome way possible. It’s the kind of style I’ll never get tired of looking at. Speaking of wholesome, which is another perfect word to describe this series and maybe the reason why it’s become my comfort read. It’s like free therapy indeed. In all honesty, these are the only books I’ve read that are truly diverse and have inclusive representation. They feature disability representation (e.g. Hesekiel uses a wheelchair; in The Tea Dragon Festival, some of the characters use sign language), gender inclusivity, and characters of different skin colors. Each books differ from themes, but The Tea Dragon Tapestry is probably my favorite. It deals with the struggle of finding one’s identity, growing, and discovering oneself. Honestly, this is the installment that really made me cry. Minette’s words, the ancestor’s lines, and the way the other characters offered their support to one another just hit me right in the heart. It’s hard not to get emotional. I also think it’s the longest among them, because it features more themes than the other two. Overall, The Tea Dragon Series is deeply healing and comforting. I said it already but I’ll say it again, my personal favorite is The Tea Dragon Tapestry. It’s the kind of book you want to pick up when you feel lost or when you’re seeking gentle encouragement on your personal growth journey.
