Ich hatte ehrlicherweise eine sehr sehr hohe Erwartungshaltung an dieses Buch aufgrund von TikTok aber ich würde sagen es war ein wunderschön geschriebenes Buch voller Liebe. Ich bekam vor lesen dieses Werk unfassbares Lob mit aber auch Kritik, wobei ich persönlich sage, die Kritik ist aufgrund von Perspektive sowie Zeit nicht ganz für mich nachvollziehbar. Das Lob wiederum empfand ich als ein wenig stark beim lesen des Buchs, weil ich von noch mehr Poesie ausging und nicht so sehr mitgenommen wurde wie gedacht aber jetzt nach einem Augenblick und ein wenig Abstand muss ich gestehen, dass dieses Werk Eindruck hinterlassen hat und ich bin mir sehr sicher, dass mich die bittersüße und wunderschön geschriebene Geschichte von Patroclus und Achilles noch sehr lang begleiten wird. Ich glaub es gab selten eine Verbindung wie zwischen diesen beiden und genauso selten hatte ich eine solche Bindung zu Protagonisten. Deswegen je länger ich nachdenke desto mehr versteh ich das Loblied für dieses Buch.
