Actual Rating 4.5 Es war so schön und süß, genau das was ich bei Graphic Novels brauche und liebe. Es thematisiert Transgender, Selbstfindung und Akzeptanz und diese Themen machen auch nicht halt vor einem Prinzen. Und zur Krönung des ganzen gab's noch eine Friends to Lover Geschichte

It was cute, but nothing special. I liked it that the men modeled Frances dresses at the show at the end. I expected a more powerful message but I really liked the art style though.

Eine Designerin mit starker Persönlichkeit und einem Traum, der unwissentlich von einem Prinzen erfüllt wird. Dennoch haben die beiden Hürden zu überwinden. Frances möchte eigenständig sein und Sebastian er selbst. Was eine wunderbare und absolut tolle Geschichte, mit so wichtiger Botschaft und Werten, die vermittelt werden. Ich meine, ein Prinz als eine Art Drag Queen - Ist das nicht genial?! (;

I LOVED THIS! even though it’s my first graphic novel ever and i don’t have anything to compare it to, i can say that it‘s an absolutely beautiful book!!! the art style is PERFECT and the lovely story hits me right in the heart. READ IT! (i am so glad for my friend who gave me this, she‘s the best.)

I did think the ending was a little silly (in a good way) and the message and story were really good!

Este livro é a minha salvação de ressacas literárias, que história fofinhaaa. Li em inglês e epa a escrita é espectacular e as ilustrações são a coisa mais lindinhaaa. O pai dele no final surpreendeu me bué e obviamente fiquei encantada com o final do livrooo

This came highly recommended and I wasn’t disappointed AT ALL! The artwork is lovely, the characters are deeply human, and y’all please give me a few more days until I am coherent enough to talk about the things that ending made me FEEL! Urgh, the king, I can’t. What a lovely graphic novel!

that was phenomenal! the story was so unbelievably beautiful! at the latest, when the king himself stepped on stage with a dress tailored by frances, i knew this was going to be a 5 star read. great!!! great, great, great!!!

Qué novela gráfica tan cuqui y adorable.

Such a cute and heartwarming story with lovely characters and a beautiful message. Made me cry! Thank god it has a happy end :)
