If you want cosy for christmas with all the good vibes and escape you will be glad to found this book. I didnt expect much but Sarah is fantastic. She might even be rivaling becky chambers as my favorite cosy book author. This short experience has relationships in every stage and problems that are solved with a christmassy feel and some heartwarming moments between the friends. I strongly recommend this book for your next christmas time!
Ein Weihnachtstitel, von dem ich mir viel versprochen habe (glaubt den Blurbs nichts), dann aber bitterlich enttäuscht wurde. Wie schafft man es denn, einen romantischen Weihnachtsroman ohne Kitsch zu schreiben? Es ist mir wirklich ein Rätsel, wie dieses Buch mich nicht abholen konnte. Ich bin eine absolute Weihnachtsfanatikerin, die man nicht glücklicher machen kann als mit einer guten Romantischen Komödie. Aber hier war weder viel Humor noch viel Romantik vorhanden. Dieses Buch war so unglaublich langweilig, die Handlung schon von Beginn an komplett vorhersehbar und die Charaktere absolut flach. Wenn das kein Buchclub Buch gewesen wäre, hätte ich es wahrscheinlich abgebrochen.
Herzlich und humorvoll geschriebene Story, nicht nur über Liebe sondern über das Leben und all seinen Höhen und Tiefen und Möglichkeiten. Das ganz ohne Drama und doch keinen Moment langweilig. 🥰 Für jene die sich mal an ein englisches Buch wagen wollen: das perfekte Buch weil es keine unnötig komplizierten Begriffe hat und man alles aus dem Kontext erlesen kann.
